POKEY PEAS REFUGEES CHALLENGE for July 2014

Buffy, for now, don't do anything different. I sent a message to admin. to clarify the ability to post the layout right in the message. I haven't received an answer yet. I think as long as we don't totally flood all the messages, we can post the layout to the message board. I will let you all know when I hear an official word.
Thanks for the Disney help offer. I love scrapping Disney. I haven't been many times, but we just went in Jan. Do you live in Europe? I saw that your Disney was Paris!!

It has been really nice weather here lately, in the 80's and cooler in the evenings. Of course I'm always cold in the air conditioning, but we couldn't have asked for better weather while all the kids and grands were here. But today it's going to be close to 100 at 6:15 when we have Pack Meeting. We have to launch them in the sun because there are too many rocket-eating trees around if we don't use the parking lot at the church. I know we will have some on the roof of the church if the wind is blowing. They really shoot high. You wouldn't think stomping on a 2-liter bottle would send them that high, but they they go more than twice the height of my 2 story home. The bigger the "stomper" the higher they go.

I plan to spend the rest of the week cleaning out the scraproom so I can actually scrap!

Kelly, our heat is very dry! Angie couldn't get enough lotion while she was here. If it were a humid heat, we wouldn't be able to tolerate it. Utah is the 2nd driest state in the union. Only Nevada is drier.

Wow, Kelly what a deal on your pancakes!  Glad you had a night out with Ron.

Cindy, horseback riding sounds like fun if I were 40 years younger.  Maggie will love it.  My cousin and I used to ride the horses to take the cows to pasture, morning and night when we stayed with Grandpa on his farm.  I loved riding.  Now, it makes my back ache to think of it.  I'm looking forward to your layouts afterwards.

Sounds like not a lot of scrapping got done last night.  I had good intentions after our Cub Rocket party.  But just as we got home there were sirens, fire trucks, ambulances around the corner.  Our dear neighbor was putting his boat away and thought his tractor was in neutral.  He was in front of the big wheel when it rolled forward, trapping his foot, knocking him over and running over him.  From his foot, up his entire body.

Two of my scouts were riding their bikes past and heard him screaming for help.  They ran to him and then ran to call 911.  The wheel was on his chest at the time. By the time the paramedics arrived the tractor continued rolling up over his shoulder and off his body. He's in pretty tough shape.  Just got back from ICU to see him. He will be there for some time, but it could have been much worse.   So no scrapping for me last night.

Does that help with the questions?  I hope so.  If it is posted from your photobucket account and is then pinned, does that give anyone on Pinterest access to all your photobucket photos?   Someone wiser about photobucket needs to clear that up for me.   I don't want to pin something that then gives everyone access to all your work without your permission.
