🎶. #MAGA 🎶Elaina Plott.... ”Scoop: Trump called NRA chief Wayne LaPierre this afternoon to tell him universal background checks are off the table:” If true, and I believe it is, trump really is an asshole. No surprise here. Our country’s leader bows down to foreign dictators and the head of a group that puts out terrorist like videos to influence their members.

”Today, Trump has: - flip flopped on background checks; - pushed to get Russia in the G-7; - Said the economy is strong and argued for measures to fix the economy - called 7 in 10 Jews either disloyal or dumb - fought on Twitter with a temporary employee”

The idiot really thought he could just buy another country. I thought it was a joke.. When is this embarrassment going to end?
trump..
”Denmark is a very special country with incredible people, but based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s comments, that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland, I will be postponing our meeting scheduled in two weeks for another time....”
”The Prime Minister was able to save a great deal of expense and effort for both the United States and Denmark by being so direct. I thank her for that and look forward to rescheduling sometime in the future!”
MSNBC....
”BREAKING: President Trump tweets that he is "postponing" his upcoming meeting with Danish PM Mette Frederiksen based on her comments "that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland."
The US president had been expected to visit Denmark in early September.”
”Thankfully, the time where you buy and sell other countries and populations is over. Let’s leave it there. Jokes aside, we will of course love to have an even closer strategic relationship with the United States,” Frederiksen had previously said of idea of US buying Greenland.”
“Based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen’s comments, that she would have no interest in discussing the purchase of Greenland, I will be postponing our meeting," Trump tweeted.”

Interviewer said doing payroll taxes...? Gidley then proceeds to state that he was IN the meeting and it was payroll CUTS that were discussed.
He could not even get through the interview without tripping himself up!!

Great! Mental institutions to hold more violent white supremacists or would those be better used for political dissidents and resistors? I think many of us know the answer to that! In his eyes there are no problems with white supremacists. I become more concerned every day.........

My my my ...... They are gathering......... ** Paul Ryan is moving his family to the city he was always giddy to leave. The former speaker of the House and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee is leaving his longtime home of Janesville, Wis., and will rent a house in the Maryland suburbs of Washington. "Now in the private sector, Paul and his family are temporarily renting a house in Maryland, and he’ll be spending time there as well as their family home in Janesville," a Ryan aide told POLITICO. The move will place the Ryan family close to the sisters of Janna Ryan, the former speaker's wife, who live in the D.C. area. Ryan is not selling his family home in Janesville, and his American Idea Foundation will be based in his hometown. But for a man who prided himself on going back to Janesville each weekend, the move is notable. Ryan studiously avoided putting down roots in Washington during his two decades in Congress, famously sleeping in his office. He consistently made clear that his career was based in the nation's capital by necessity, not choice, and has worn his Wisconsin pedigree as a point of pride. In recent months, Ryan has taken pains to detach himself from politics. In the late spring and early summer, he transferred more than $7 million from his political accounts to his nonprofit, the American Idea Foundation. In addition, the former speaker has taken a seat on the board of directors of Fox Corp., the parent company for entities like Fox News, Fox Sports and Fox Television. Ryan is on the compensation committee. Ryan clashed with President Donald Trump recently after publication of the book "American Carnage," by POLITICO's Tim Alberta. "I'm telling you, he didn't know anything about government," Ryan said in the book. Trump lashed out in a series of tweets, calling Ryan “the failed V.P. candidate” and a “lame duck failure.” Trump continued: “They gave me standing O’s in the Great State of Wisconsin, & booed him off the stage.” **
He collected a lot, $7 million, while working in DC!!

The horror show continues.................. Trump horrifies the internet by tweeting out quotes from anti-Semitic superfan comparing him to ‘second coming of God’ August 21, 2019 By Travis Gettys President Donald Trump tweeted out some quotes from a superfan who compared him to Jesus Christ, in a tweetstorm doubling down on his widely criticized remarks about Jews and Israel. The president on Tuesday questioned the loyalty of Jews who voted for Democrats, which was widely condemned as anti-Semitic, and he defended himself the following morning by tweeting out quotes from Newsmax commentator Wayne Allyn Root — who has promoted anti-Semitic and racist conspiracy theories against George Soros and President Barack Obama. “Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words,” Trump tweeted. “’President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world…and the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel.'” “‘They love him like he is the second coming of God,'” the quote continued. “‘But American Jews don’t know him or like him. They don’t even know what they’re doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense! But that’s OK, if he keeps doing what he’s doing, he’s good for all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone. And importantly, he’s good for everyone in America who wants a job.’” ** www.rawstory.com/2019/08/trump-horrifies-the-internet-by-tweeting-out-quotes-from-anti-semitic-superfan-comparing-him-to-second-coming-of-god/?utm_source=&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=1196&recip_id=304309&list_id=1The comments are more then interesting! Asking "hey Evangelicals, isn't it blasphemy for a person to compare themselves to God?" "First of all "genius", there's no such thing as a second coming of god..... the second coming Christians are waiting for is the return of JESUS. Second, if you're going to be likened to a king, I think the appropriate comparison would be Herod the Great who slaughtered innocents"

mine is more of a hangover type headache, since I need to drink to deal with his nonsense, lol. Just kidding- although some days, I wish I did drink more.
Mine is typically a tension/stress thing in my neck and shoulders; I realize I'm tensing up basically the entire top third of my body when I listen to the news or think about his idiocy for too long. (I try NOT to actually ever listen to him speak if I can help it.)

He has totally fallen off the rails today!! Talking payroll tax cuts maybe yesterday....... Today, NO tax cuts!! thehill.com/policy/finance/458283-trump-reverses-says-hes-not-looking-at-any-tax-cutsYesterday background checks off the table:
** President Trump on Wednesday said his administration is once again seriously considering an executive order to end birthright citizenship months after several lawmakers cast doubt on his ability to take such action.
"We're looking at that very seriously," Trump told reporters as he left the White House for Kentucky. "Birthright citizenship, where you have a baby on our land — walk over the border, have a baby, congratulations, the baby's now a U.S. citizen."
"We are looking at birthright citizenship very seriously," he added. "It’s, frankly, ridiculous."
The president proposed ending the practice that grants citizenship to those born in the United States during his 2016 presidential campaign. He revived the idea last year, saying he would sign an executive order to enact the change.
Numerous lawmakers, including several Republicans, quickly pushed back on the idea and argued Trump lacked the authority to make such a change using an executive order. They cited that birthright citizenship is a right enshrined under the 14th Amendment.
Trump responded to the criticism by saying birthright citizenship would be ended "one way or another."

he says whatever he thinks he needs to in order to appease his base. or to distract. whichever his reason of the day is. No matter how outrageous it sounds, or whether it CAN actually be done, or not.
I heard someone this morning on the radio say that... the outrageous stuff appeals to his base, because it's what they wish THEY could say. it doesn't really matter whether it's legal, or if it can be done or not. Just the fact that he SAYS the things is what they like.
