Hello Ladies, Post your Old/New layouts on this thread. For my own layouts, I will consider anything I've purchased within the last six months to be new. You can decide the time period for your layouts. Tell us what is new and what is old. Old: Magic Mesh - so old but I like the texture it added to this layout. Sticker letters Red and cream enamel embellishments ( - one says, "Smart, and the other two are circles) MM cream colored metal oval frame New: Dapper Dan chevron paper from glitsitnow.com Wood chips Vellum embellishments Enamel brads by Basic Grey I often forget who made which products as I don't really follow any manufacturers.

I really love the mesh on this. I have a half done layout on my desk and if I could ever stop peaing (refupeaing?) I'd probably get it finished.

Great idea...I'm always trying to dig into my stash, and find that elements from kits I received 18 months ago still seem pretty current to me!!! But I can't stop buying new stuff. I will post a LO for sure Love yours!

Super cute! I'm using your inspiration to make a page kit. I even have some metal frames like you used for the date.

I have magic mash that I haven't used yet. I think I'll check out the gallery at scrapbook.com and get some more great ideas. Anyone else have a gallery that you're looking at to take the place of 2Peas? I'm a big fan of mini-albums. Like a lot of us, I imagine that we use Pinterest to get ideas. I like the ones from a gallery because if you have a question the submittor will sometimes respond.

Scrappykindofgirl - I love the pp circles, especially the ones where you've cut the Canada out to be the prominent word.

Ok, here's my layout: Vera & Edna
The Daisy D's paper, 7 Gypsies sticker, pin, Prima mistable, ribbons and journaling card were all quite old. The rest of the supplies I bought in the last 12 months so I'm counting them as new(ish).

irisheyes - you've done a great job using up some old supplies - I had forgotten about those metal zipper pulls (home & family) - I had heaps of those back in the day. I wouldn't have picked that the Sugar & Spice tag or the blue flowers on the Aliese and Kalena lo was old - the colours work so perfectly with your papers. Beautiful!

I finally finished another one. I want to start using up my ribbon stash but wanted to make it look a little more current. I really like how this turned out and think I'll be doing lots of ribbon banners again (and the best part - 3 pieces of ribbon completely used up!).
Old - ribbon, brads, sticker New - paper, alphas, die cuts

Camanddanismom, Can't wait to see what you come up with.
Chinagirl, I love how you used the ribbon - it is just the right touch. I have so much ribbon that I need to get used up. I don't even buy it anymore because I have too much.

I have a new one with both old and new items. This is my grandson who will be turning eight next month. Old: Background paper, heart vellum paper, and baby Class A Peels - I even used the negative spaces from the letters of "baby" to add a bit of extra shine. New: Glitter Thickers, and all the other stickers on the page. Here is a close up: Here is a link to my blog that has the full image: Full page
