I found two sellers when I searched "confetti background die" on AE (and I think they might be the same person with two accounts, because the same photos AND the same text in their listing).
I couldn't find an "original" source for it.
ETA: Nope. I'm wrong. The background dies i saw on AE aren't right, either.

That die does not look the same as the one that's in the card, though. The one on the card has a perforated border. Also, the confetti on the card is much denser, and has different shapes than the die you linked. But it does make me think that the ali express stamps are knockoffs of Penguin Palace's. |

That is a really cool die! I like the stitched edge in the first one better though. I did a bunch of searches for confetti die, party background die, etc...and I cannot come up with that exact one.
Edited to add, are you trying to buy the background die? Because it looks like it is just the little animals die (s) That is what the reviews are for and what the ad says. I don't see a pic of the background die.

Oh ok! I just was looking for the die itself and thought it was odd that there was not a pic of that, or an option to buy. I've never bought anything off there. I am still trying to separate ali express from ali edwards lol.
It is a great background die! How fun for birthday cards, ect.

My guess is she doesn't mention it because she's doing a marketing post for Penguin Palace, which has its own confetti die.  Great detective work in tracking down that post, though! FurryP, I didn't check when I looked at the blog, but maybe she has a "contact me" link and you could write her and ask where she got it? |

Yay.....I checked out her instagram and noticed she had several other cards with confetti backgrounds except they were butterflies, hearts, etc.. I found the die! Your Next Stamp.I am going to have to wait for a sale, though. Yikes! Thank you for your input everyone! It was a team effort. It was @kendramage who used the term "confettie die" that got me looking further. And of course @wendiful with the actual creator. FurryP, thank you so much for going through the effort to search out the original maker of the die and buying directly from them versus Ali Express. Last week a favorite stamp company of mine posted a frustrating Instagram story that they spend DAYS contacting Ali Express about having illegal designs removed from that website. It took away time from family and her business.

I did not know Your Next Stamp was in Canada. Hope my die gets here soon. Of course I really have no time to do anything with it until the end of Aug. so no big deal I guess.
