Friday: Not feeling well at all, like at death's door. So bad in fact, that she basically starts writing her own eulogy. Monday: Feels like bronchitis.....been sick all month with several illnesses at one. Tuesday: At the mountains on vacation with her daughter, another woman and A BABY. Say what? Sick for a month and you are hanging around a baby?

Oh, look at that, Tracie, drama queen extraordinaire, is at it again. Being on death's door is her fave summertime social media post type. Everyone's off vacationing, less likes and comments because of this, so Tracie needs to drum up attention. "I'm dying! Writing my own eulogy! Not afraid to die, just of leaving my sweet baby behind!" Ten minutes later: "On holiday and eating loads of stuff, YOLO!" Love how TC-ish that holiday post is. She mentions three specific places in her mountain vacay post and they're ALL food places. Clearly, the bronchitis and pacemaker worries aren't interfering with her appetite.

I came here just for this post. :-) I somehow still follow TC on IG and saw a long similar post from her yesterday( not sure when she posted it) But, instantly thought of my friends here and couldn't wait to see what the Peas have to say. I immediately thought " oh my she's sick, when will she be traveling again" Poor poor Traci,

As my niece would say, "MyLANTA!!" If I had a pacemaker and thought I was on death's door, I don't think I would bust out the journal, I'd probs hop in the car to the ER. What a sad little girl she must be.

The best part of the post is cut off, and I quote, “I don’t like to talk about my health problems a lot...” 🤨

Ok...I try not to comment on stuff like this but I can’t stop today. Why in the world is she complaining like that about her pacemaker? If it’s taking her breath away, she needs to make an appointment to get the settings adjusted! When I got my first pacemaker, every time the lower chamber was paced I could feel it. It was only firing about 30% of the time so it wasn’t constant. Just distracting. Also, isn’t that what the pacemaker is supposed to do?! I’m 100% pacemaker dependent. If my device stops working, I’d likely die. I certainly wouldn’t be sitting around writing words I want read at my funeral. I’d be in the ER getting my device interrogated and figuring out what the heck was going on!

Clearly her life is super stressful. She has cleaning, talking about cleaning, taking selfies, posting selfies, driving to a fast food restaurant, and eating. How does she do it all? Bless her heart.

Does she know you can drink the clear fluid that comes out of the faucet? I've heard it's actually quite good for you.
SMH.

I know that, when I feel near death, I immediately begin writing my own eulogy and also drinking Smart Water. Who needs 911? It's cool that the lord loves Tracie so much that he always heals her right before trips and other fun events. Bless her heart.

I"m so glad god takes the time to look after Tracie so she can go on trips and eat stuff. It's too bad he deosn't have time to help the 3 yos who die of leukemia after 2 rounds of chemo and radiation.

You would think that someone who is dependent upon a pacemaker to live would know the signs of a problem and get their butt into a doctor or ER immediately instead of trying to self-diagnosis or medicate. And staying hydrated should be a given in her case.

whenever *I* feel like I'm at death's door and start writing my own eulogy, the very next thing I do is drink a Smartwater and some pineapple juice. HUGE eyeroll from me.
Doctor? ER, maybe? If MY pacemaker was firing for "HOURS" I would NOT lay in bed and sob-- or write my eulogy-- I would ask someone to drive me to the emergency room!!
eta: wait, maybe she's making all these memories so her family has something to remember her by when she kicks the bucket from being at death's door... she was probably dragging herself there just for her family's sake. /s

Love how TC-ish that holiday post is. She mentions three specific places in her mountain vacay post and they're ALL food places. Clearly, the bronchitis and pacemaker worries aren't interfering with her appetite. I feel like I can't comment on all her eating posts because I'm fat and make bad food choices all the time. BUT I've had bronchitis. One of the few times in my life where I felt like total shit and food was not the least bit appealing. I would stay in the hotel room and sleep.

BUT I've had bronchitis. One of the few times in my life where I felt like total shit and food was not the least bit appealing. I would stay in the hotel room and sleep. I hope you know I wasn't weight-shaming! But TC has a habit of having all these ailments that miraculously never affect her appetite. And loads woe-is-me-and-my-struggling-finances laments while she continues to post about daily outings to places to eat. As you put it: those who've suffered from bronchitis know the toll it takes on you. Food is way down the pyramid of needs in those times. As someone who struggles with bronchitis at least once/winter, I also know that your doctor will tell you to eat veg & fruit, whole grains and protein low in fats. No fried food, fatty food, sweet desserts and whatnot. You're supposed to hydrate, go for a good walk daily if you can manage it, sleep a lot, eat healthily, monitor the colour of your mucus and avoid people at risk like babies because acute bronchitis is contagious as it's usually linked to a cold or the flu. Not whatever TC's doing...
