This is NOT a development project. It is the mauling tearing apart death of a 9 yo. Bill Pulte should have donated anonymously and left it at that. I guess what I don’t understand is why it would matter whether Pulte wanted his aid to garner publicity or not. Yes, it’s rather macabre and distasteful to be using someone’s death as a platform for one’s Twitter ambitions. It can even said to be grotesque. But at the end of the day, the family was able to raise more than what they were asking for, probably partly due to Pulte's promotion of the family’s gofundme. Isn’t that what matters? That in a time of great sorrow and financial difficulty that they were helped? Sure, he could promote it. That's wonderful. He could have paid PR folks to do that w/o making it about him. Or better yet, just pay off the entire GoFundMe anonymously. It's not like he can't afford it w/his inherited wealth (from his billionaire grandfather).

Ds played baseball with someone whose family had a pet pit bull. Unprovoked, the dog bit the boy's arm to the extent that he needed surgery. When he finally got the cast off and the scars had healed about 2 or 3 months later, the dog attacked him again within 4 days. The boy's mother ended up stabbing the dog to try to end the attack. When that didnt work, they all managed to get into a room and close the door until the police came to rescue them. And the boy was never able to play baseball again. We also have friends who own pit bulls. They are good pet owners, but any time a stranger enters the house, they have to restrain the dogs.

No. But you can please me and millions like me by not being obscenely greedy and sharing your billions w/those in dire need instead of using a little girl's death to advance your name. Do you know what 30K is it a billionaire? It is a ratio of .00003 - .003% of their wealth. It's like a coffee.
