Ok, I had to sign in to give Castro a vote! I really want to see a first White House quinceanera. haha My pic is Kamala, then Warren. I think it's going to be Biden, because Merica! All we need is yet another old white man who says senile shit all the time. Probably Biden and Warren with Kamala as AG. Pete would be in a good vice to prez position for 2028. Beto lost his momentum. I see all of them positioning themselves for a place in the new administration.

I like everyone on that list except for Bernie (whom I would still vote for if he were the nominee, but I’d be bitching about it the whole time). I only care about one single thing, and that is who can beat Trump? I guess my heart is with Warren, but can she win the general election? Buttegieg will make a very fine VP for whoever is the nominee. C’mon, he’s not even 40 yet, and he has no state-wide, national-level, legislative, or foreign affairs experience (other than military service). If my sister were voting in this poll, she would have voted for Castro. I like him, too. I just don’t think he’s going anywhere, except maybe VP. My bottom line is, I’m only going to support someone (at the primary level) that I think can attract moderate Republican votes. So no way-out-there lefties. I realize that makes me a typical over-50 liberal. No need to go out of your way to point it out. I agree with every bit of this, except I think I personally prefer Biden out of the top 3 by a smidge. I like Pete, but agree that he just needs some more big time experience - same with Beto. But in the end, my vote will be for whomever I think stands the best chance of winning against Trump. Apart from those minor details, the only other things I have to amend for myself is I'm not quite to 50s yet, I'm still not sure what the heck to call my political views, and I don't have a sister.

Klobuchar's platform most closely aligns with what I want so she is who I would pick today. When the primary does roll around though I will be looking at the top polling people and picking from them. The one I pick will be the one I think has the greatest chance of winning whether I agree with his/her platform or not.

My heart wants to vote for Castro but reality is that it will likely be someone who can actually beat Trump. I really don’t want another old white male as president democrat or republican.

I will vote for the Democratic candidate, whoever it is. But my first choice would be either Warren or Harris. And it has nothing to do with gender. I just happen to like what they both have to say.

there is the person we want and the person who can beat him. sadly, not necessarily the same person. but i will vote for whomever captures the nomination.
