According to Talking Dead Morgan is heading a different direction. Toward the X, whatever that is.

I ?DARYL DIXON, the years in his eyes after hugging Carol........ Swoon Double *swoon* I was yelling at my tv a lot tonight...that whole thing with the trough? Am I the only one who noticed that tonight's episode was way more graphic (violent) than previous seasons? Particularly the zombie scenes?

I'm not sure if I will like that part or not. Was the girl being pulled from the train car the same one who was with the govenor? What did the army guy mean when he said they would talk to them, but not yet?

That was definitely the best season premier of TWD ever! So do you agree with the butcher/cattle theory. That because of what happened to Gareth, Mary and the others they had no choice but to make Terminus how it ended up or are you like me and think hmm Rick and the others have had some terrible shit happen to them but they haven't gone totally to the other side they still have some humanity/morals left or are the lines all so blurred that really Gareth/Mary and Rick/Carole/Darryl etc are one and the same they just go about it in different ways?? Okay no thoughts or takers on my question/thoughts??

I am assuming that Rosita meant that they needed to remind rick and the others that they need to get Eugene to Washington and that they want them to join them on their trek to get him there.

I loved them talking about the trough scene on Talking Dead...wow!
As an aside, does anybody watch The Good Wife? At the beginning of tonight's episode Alicia is watching a show based on Walking Dead/Talking Dead. Set is the se, format is the same, etc. Wondered if that was on purpose/a shout out since tonight was TWD premiere.

I loved them talking about the trough scene on Talking Dead...wow! What did they say? That the actors (the main actors, Rick and Glenn and Daryl) didn't know about the blood beforehand. That was their real one take reaction to seeing the blood run down to the drain.

Okay no thoughts or takers on my question/thoughts?? My take is that under the right circumstances anyone could devolve into survivalist mode devoid of any humanity or sympathy. Considering what the people of Terminus endured, torture and rape, I can understand how they hardened themselves and became the aggressors. One step down into darkness then easily led them down another step until they became cannibal hunters. It wasn't an overnight change.

I loved them talking about the trough scene on Talking Dead...wow! What did they say? They talked about the special effects, Chris wondered if anyone else realized that the first victim was Sam from the episode where Rick banishes Carol from the group, she fixes his shoulder at the house Rick and her were looking thru during a supply run. I noticed it was him right away and Alex on the slab that they were cutting up.

I love coming here after TWD to see what everyone is talking about. I learn so much. I totally missed the comment on Talking Dead about Sam. I wondered what was the significance of the look between him and Rick. Had no clue who it was. Thank you.
And yes, I cried at the end too. Especially when Darryl ran to Carol. I also thought the same thing about whether he was happy to see her or his crossbow... lol.

That was one of the best episodes of the TWD. It started off a little too rough, but the end was worth it. And Morgan...yeah!

Awesome season opener. I watched the 4 minute spoiler and couldn't even begin to imagine how they'd get out of that! Before seeing that clip, I imagined Carol and Tyrese rescuing them from the train car, but that was mega-intense and I'm glad they didn't go with my boring escape idea, lol.
Carol totally ROCKS. After MM's performance in the season finale and this Rambo/MacGyver Carol we're seeing now, Carol is quickly becoming my most favorite character and Melissa McBride one my most favorite actors.
I also love it when they show Daryl's softer side. That run-and-hug-Carol-tight was the best part of tonight's episode. That and Rick and Carl being reunited with Judith. DH had to hand me a Kleenex, lol!
I'm anxious to find out about Beth's storyline. They spent a considerable amount of time at the end of last season to show that she'd grown and matured into a stronger person, so I'm looking forward to the rest of her character development this season.
My only complaint about tonight's show is the commercials. Way too many! It felt like 2 minutes of show, 5 minutes of commercial. :8

I LOVED this episode, I think it's my favourite so far - electric from start to finish. If the rest of the season is the same, it will be tremendous. I thought the same thing, but it was brilliant to see Carol come into her own. We only get it on cable here, so I'm all set to watch it again in half an hour.

OMG what an amazing episode. Carol is the supreme bad ass. One of the best lines Carol ever had "We are friends of the chick with the sword and the kid with the hat."

What an absolutely awesome, action-packed, yell at the t.v., sit on the edge of your seat hour of t.v. I think I've ever watched! LOVED it!
Since I have no patience for the commercials during this show, I usually start it about 30 mins. late and fast forward through the commercials. I'll have to go back and see what commercial you guys are talking about.
Eugene...Eugene...Eugene-Oh how I think he is full of sh!t! When Sasha asked him what the formula/cure was, and when he was double-talking his answer, I was LOL'ing at the t.v. I said this a while ago--in this new world people can be whoever they want, even a scientist with a cure to the zombie apocalypse. What a brilliant plan to convince some good people you're important, and they turn their entire existence to protecting you. HA! I'm still saying he was a gamer living in his momma's basement, lol.
I loved the extra preview with Morgan walking down the tracks. I don't think they've ever shown a little more, after the credits, have they?

Such a great episode! Loved that it ended with the reunion, after everything they put us through.
We usually dvr it, but we're traveling and watched it in our hotel room, so we had to endure the commercials. Way too many!

If you are like me and missed the end scene of Morgan...I found it online here. My DVR cut off just about the time they threw the woman into the box car.

Can't wait to see more about Beth too but I am betting we only see a bit at the end of next Sunday's episode just so they give us a taste ugh.
Loved the Darryl/Carol hug the thing that would have topped it was them making out lol and Darryl saying I realized how much I love you hahaha!
