Getting older is just grand isn't it? I've been using either Aquaphor or First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Intensive Lip Balm overnight for my dry and often chapped lips. They no longer work well enough for my ridiculously dry self. I've also tried Burt's Bees. EOS and other drugstore balms. Do you have an amazing overnight (or day off) lip balm that has helped to improve your chapped lips? Mine get 10x worse over the winter, so I want to try and get them under control ASAP. I've got a Sephora shopping basket that's waiting for me to add one to it before checking out Thank you! ETA AN UPDATE: I want to thank you all again. I ended up buying Laniege and it's made a world of difference, the dry, chapped, sore feeling is gone, and actually was gone within about 5 days of using it. I'm not 100% sure it's going to be enough for my stupid lips during the winter, but for now it's great!

Laneige lip sleeping mask! It comes in original berry, apple lime or vanilla. All work great! Sephora sells it.

This sounds really weird, but I use Vick's Vapo-Rub on my lips when they get super bad. When I was young, I licked above my lip and it got super chapped. My grandma started having me use Vick's and I still use it.

The Laniege stuff did nothing for me. I slather on the Smith's Rosebud Salve every night and it's still on my lips when I wake up.

I have used and recommended Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour cream since the mid `70s. It is great stuff. Comes in a lipstick style tube as well.

Liquid vitamin E. I buy the capsules, open one with the tip of a knife, slather it on.

I’ve used coconut oil in the past & I also give it to my kids. Clears up chapped lips in a couple days. For day to day maintenance, I use Dior sugar scrub. I’ve been using it for about 2 years and I rarely have chapped or dry lips.

Balm dot com by Glossier. This is a good one too! Glossier had a pop up shop in Seattle over the summer and we stocked up.

Last year I was in pain because my lips were so chapped. I tried just about every product already mentioned in this thread plus some others. I even went to the dermatologist. Finally, a coworker recommended O’Keeffe’s Cooling Relief lip repair. It worked. I found it at Walmart. link

I find exfoliating first with a sugar scrub helps somewhat, followed by LaNeige or the Aquafor Healing Ointment.

I really like the lip balms and scrubs from Lush. Not the cheapest choice, but they're handmade and all natural. Plus they smell really good!

Lip Slip & Lips Scrub by Sara Happ are excellent. Leniege works, but I find the Lip Slip is a bit better. Another good product is Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1.

I use either Laneige lip sleeping mask or Bite Beauty agave lip mask. I prefer the Bite but they are both good. I would also look at your toothpaste. You may have a sensitivity to SLS or another ingredient that is causing dryness.

I have chronically dry lips. I was using Medicated Chapstick for years until I randomly picked up some Burt’s Bees. It must be the beeswax or something because it almost coats my lips giving a barrier that works. It also lasts much longer than Chapstick. So my vote is anything with beeswax.

Lanolin. I have used drug store brands, EOS, Laneige, Sara Happ, coconut oil, Jack Black, Mamonde... The lanolin is thick and stays on. In the morning, I use a warm, damp washcloth to scrub them off. Then I use Bum BUm Brazillian Kiss because I like the scent. Lanolin Superbalm

Ahhh, so many options and all have good reviews as well. Now, which one to try first? It may be the Laneige. Thanks ladies!

I slather on Carmex a lot. I like that it also has SPF 15. But plain old Vasline works as well. Just a tad messy.

MichyM Let us know how the Laneige works. When you said Aquaphor is no longer working for you I was like "I have nothing and no other item to try" and YES - this getting older stuff is for the birds!

Laneige works okay for me. But I love Bite Beauty Agave lip mask (you can purchase this at Sephora). Using a tiny bit at night works wonders.
