Would you be concerned about going into a business that is next to a lice removal salon?
Would you think the proximity increases your chances of getting lice?

No. It wouldn’t even cross my mind. That’s like not going into a business next to a Dr., or Care Now where they have other not so desirable things that can spread.

No. It would not even be a thought.
Only you and your righteous cleaniness would be bothered.

No, I don't think that would bother me. I figure if you have kids yourself and/or they are in school, you are more exposed to lice than being next door to such a building.

Okay, I'll admit it: I'd think twice. I'd still go if I needed to, but I'd think about it.

No, but in the next town over there’s a thrift store that’s next door to the offices of a bedbug treatment company and I won’t shop at that thrift store for anything.

Wouldn't be much of a removal business if it infected everyone around them...but then again, what a brilliant business plan! Guaranteed customers!
(I kid)

No I would not be concerned.
But I would be concerned if there had been bed bugs. Those things infest neighboring building pretty easily.

No. Mostly because lice is a human parasite - not an environmental pest. They can't jump, fly or otherwise migrate to a neighboring business. I wouldn't walk in and rub my head on anything. But there are a lot of things I'd worry about before lice.

Would you be concerned about going into a business that is next to a lice removal salon? Would you think the proximity increases your chances of getting lice? I wouldn't be concerned. Lice don't walk far or fly. They get transferred when you try on that cute hat someone else tried on, or the lice were on a chair you sat down on, or borrowed your brush, or you sat head to head literally. These are why kids mostly get lice (from sitting with heads/hair touching) then parents/caregivers snuggling with a child pass it through the family.

I am leary of all Thrift Shops, no matter who they are next to, in regards to bedbugs... I still like to stop and shop at some, but the bedbug thing is always on my mind! LOL I also think about bedbugs and head lice when I go to a movie, ride on a plane or train.... it doesn't stop me from going.. it just makes me think about them though. LOL

Wonder what you have to do with the animals?

No. I don’t know. Maybe. I have healthy fear of lice. If I had a kid with me I might actually avoid it. Kids touch all kinds of things and then touch their faces and heads.
I think it depends on how badly I wanted to go into that store.

I can see myself making a smart ass comment about it, but it wouldn’t keep me from patronizing the business.

As a retired public elementary school teacher it would not even cross my mind. I went to work every day knowing there were probably a couple of kids in the school with lice. Heck, I even hugged my students (2nd graders) and knew a few of them had a history of lice. I wasn't sharing my brush or my hat with them. I never had them. They are not as easy to catch as a lot of people think.
