I went back to mine this evening and talked with the cashier (she remembered me and said hey you were just in here haha). I told her what I was looking for (Merry Days primarily), and she told me that location was getting a huge crafts shipment on Tuesday, so I’ll stop back by Tuesday after work. She said I could call as well and told me who to ask for, which I thought was very helpful.

My store had the Snow and Cocoa line (but no 12x12). I am really hoping for some Merry Days to hit my stores. My store also had tons of the Snow and Cocoa line but I passed on it all. I'm glad because yesterday found some of the MERRY DAYS items at another store. I bought the puffy stickers, flat stickers and the snowglobe stickers. I would have liked to have found the 6X8 paper or the chipboard but I am happy with the items I found. I just saw some YT videos and I think my stores will have it in a few days or weeks. There is still hope.

Reselling craft supplies from TM has a very slim profit margin. I know some ladies who do that but after you figure in all the cost it really isn’t worth it. Figure in gas, taxes, fees and shipping, it all adds up. I’m a throw everything I think I may want in my cart shopper, then sort through it several times before I check out. We all do it so that’s why I make several passes down the aisle to see what other people put back. I would have thought so too, but a million in three years seems like a good business. I know some ladies that will pay $$ for what they want.

We got a good 4-5 inches of snow last night and the trucks never seem to make it here on time when it snows. Supposed to snow in for the next few days too. Thinking I will call before I venture out.

I went to a new-to-me Tuesday Morning on Friday and I found all kinds of goodies! I found some carry on suitcases for birthday presents for ds and for my nieces. The one I bought for ds is a Columbia carry on with a price tag of $300. I got it for around $50 at Tuesday Morning! I didn’t even look at the 12x12 paper, but I did find a few 6x6 paper pads that were cute. I also found several dies, stamps, bling dots, and stickers. Even a few chipboard stickers! I got a Heidi Swapp snow globe card set for $4.99 (original price $14.99.) I knew there was a reason I was avoiding that place...

If you are having trouble finding new stock or things you see posted here and/or on YouTube, have you talked to the stores in your area about when they get their trucks and get the new items on the shelf? I started doing better at finding scrappy stuff (worth buying) once I timed my visits. I now coordinate my grocery shopping with when Tuesday Morning stores have their newer items on the shelf. For example, TM store A gets their shipment on Wednesday. They have the new products on the shelves by that evening right before they close on Wednesday. I don’t want to fight the traffic, so I stop by Thursday. Mornings are better, because by Thursday afternoon, the good stuff can be gone. Waiting till the weekend will ensure that I have made a useless trip. I’m retired, so I can go shop in the mornings. For working gals, they would do better going on Wednesday evening on their way home from work. Store B gets their delivery on Thursdays, so Friday morning is a better time for me to shop at that store. Both of those stores are near Costco, so I go to TM first, then Costco. I choose whether to go to store A or B, depending on what other errands in the area I will be running that week. They are in different areas. There is another store in still another direction, which gets their truck on Wednesday, but they are not prompt at getting it on the shelves. They are more likely to wait to stock the craft items till Saturday or Sunday, late in the day. I can’t depend on them having it on the shelves when I go there, and have made more than one fruitless trip. If you know when your preferred Tuesday Morning gets products in, and when they get it on the shelves, it can increase your chances if you can go each week. If you wait till you see it mentioned here, it may already be sold out. I hope that tip helps some of you to beat the ebay resellers to the good stuff. However, some stores get more craft items than others. Different areas of the country may get things that are never sent to stores in other states. One of my former scrapping buddies and I let each other know when we find something good at TM, such as Graphic 45 or BoBunny papers, because we love those companies. Sometimes we will pick up things for each other, then do a paper swap. She lives in California. I live in Texas. We both used to live in Virginia. There can be more than one reason that you hear about items here, but never find them at the Tuesday Morning nearest you. I agree, this is excellent info, *if* they will give it to you. In MN, the Roseville TM will not disclose when they get their truck, when they get stuff on the shelf, and will not let you look in the carts, even if they are out in the aisle. The Plymouth and Richfield locations will tell you they get the truck on Monday and they try to get stuff out Tuesday or Wednesday. I don't know why all the secrecy. Edited to add that I finally found out when the truck comes to Roseville from another store. I can only think it is because the employees want to shop the good stuff first, or they are saving it for select customers. Yes, I think they keep it under wraps when the truck comes at the Twin Cities stores! I suspect it is both due to saving some things for employees or preferred customers, and because they don't usually put it out for another day or 2 or 3 and don't want people asking. Plymouth told me (I didn't ask) that the truck comes an entirely different (and not adjoining) day than what you heard! I honestly have no idea when the new stuff goes out, but I think there are preferred customers that do know.

If anyone sees any Merry Days in MN, please let me know! I am looking for one of the stamp sets, and ephemera if that showed up. I expect this line to fly out of TM in MN though like Snow and Cocoa did, if MN even gets it (maybe it was already here and people bought it up?) I really hope Crape Paper/AC is getting the message that there is a big demand for remakes of some popular lines!

My stores had trucks come in yesterday. Schools and lots of other buildings were closed due to a big snowstorm. I ventured out today and the store was loaded with Merry Days stuff and Snow and Cocoa. I might have bought a lot of it. There were a ton of stamp sets for Merry Days. I also realized that there are two different washi tape sets for Merry Days.

Mine had some of Merry Days out today but looks like they were still unpacking, as some of it was in a cart in the aisle, and another cart had some other things in it. I got a bunch of it, but there wasn’t any of the chipboard or paper. I guess I’ll have to try tomorrow and maybe they will have it all unboxed from the back.
So far from what I’ve seen there’s at least five different stamp sets, two new shaker snowglobe sticker packs along with the original set, a couple of new tag sets, a new pack of ephemera as well as the original, and a new card pack as well as the original.
Mine had several of the gift wrapping packs, but I already have a few of those, so I didn’t buy any of them.

MY TM IS CLOSING!
They just found out yesterday that they will be closed by Christmas. It was a small store with great staff. I will really miss them. There are no stores closer than an hour away now.

I found the elusive Merry Days chipboard at my TM, plus the 6x8 paper pad, ephemera pack, gift tag packs and a sticker set. It was pretty sweet!

My TM finally got the Merry Days and Snow & Cocoa! I already had leftovers, so I just ended up getting S&C Chipboard stickers, and 3 different MD snow globe stickers. I also added a few MME Cozy Christmas and Pebbles items, again to use with leftover paper. Lots of card making in my future!

JoAnn's has the sloth paper, but the paper in this pack of paper is thick and has glitter/sparkles on it.

JoAnn's has the sloth paper, but the paper in this pack of paper is thick and has glitter/sparkles on it. The Joann's version is also not as richly colored as the double sided open stock paper, which may also be a little different than the paper pack version (I haven't seen that yet). I bought lots of sheets of sloths in pjs from scrapbook dot com last year - I have made them into card sets. Actually I think I have some pj sloth cards in my Pea Xmas card swap stash. I used up all of the sheets I got cheap at Joann's after I realized they weren't as bright as the open stock ones.

I am sooooo glad I have no desire to possess any Merry Days. I have not been to TM in a few weeks because the last time I went it was a bust. I have moved on to finding new ornaments for my Christmas tree and plan on doing a few DIYs this coming month.
However........ I will be in the area of a not-close-at-all TM this weekend and I will drop in there for funsies. After that, I am back to my ornament hunting.

Usually I can find red line tape there but even that was gone today. I'm sorry. I've come to rely on TM for a lot of my scrapbook purchases so I'd be sad if that happened at my store. Have you asked if they know what the plan is for the scrapbook section?
