Used most days are the toaster, air fryer and Keurig. Is a microwave really considered a small appliance?

The Keurig is the only appliance that gets used daily. Next often is the microwave. DH uses the Instant Pot weekly to prepare his lunches for the week.

Is a microwave really considered a small appliance? lol! I guess it wouldn't really be 'small' (at least ours isn't small) but I answered microwave because it's the ONLY appliance we use every day.

The coffee maker is probably the only small appliance I use every single day. I use lots of small appliances frequently during the week but not every day.

The microwave and the Keurig.
I can't believe how many people own an electric kettle! I don't think I have even seen one! I obviously live under a rock.

Coffee pot Toaster oven Microwave Instant Pot Those are the only four that get used every day. Actually, I might not use my Instant Pot quite every day, but almost.

My beautiful coffee machine has been used multiple times a day, every day, since I bought it in September last year. It’s the best $586 I’ve ever spent!

I remember being completely shocked when I found out (here at 2 Peas) that most Americans don’t have an electric kettle. 😁 I would think that just about every household in Australia, NZ and the UK has a kettle.

The microwave gets used every single day, the coffee pot gets used almost every day (DH drinks coffee, I don’t so if he isn’t home it doesn’t get used). Used frequently but not daily would be the toaster, Instant Pot, air fryer and my Kitchenaid mixers (used much more in the fall and winter).

It's my Ninja to blend up my butter coffee. I don't make coffee- so no coffee maker- I just heat up Starbucks cold brew and go from there. And the microwave.

Every day: Electric tea kettle
Frequently: George Foreman Grill, Toaster Oven, Food chopper/shredded, Mini griddle, Large griddle. I usually food prep, so once defrosted, meals are ready to be heated. I prefer to heat up not using the microwave.
Rarely: Air fryer, individual blender, mini grill.

None. The only things we use every day are a knife & cutting board, and the stove. The oven most days. The microwave every few days to melt butter or something, not to cook. DH uses a French press when he does drink coffee. We dedicate a lot of space to small appliances we don’t use often, but when we need them nothing else will do.

I have an electric kettle that I use multiple times a day. I use it for water for my aeropress or french press coffee in the Am and for tea in the afternoon. I use it to heat water for oatmeal. I just got a milk frother that I am using 3-4 times a week. We use kitchen aid about 2x per month and our Instant pot about once every 2 months. Vitamix sporadically throughout. I am on a oatmeal for breakfast kick right now.

Coffee machine.
Up until last week, I'd have added microwave to the list because we had to heat up water to pour over the dog's food - we since switched to a small bite formula that is easier on her elderly teeth so no more "cooking" for the dog for now.
