And I've given up on trying to figure out how to notify Rakuten. The email is in Japanese, a friend look at it and there is no unsubscribe button, you have to send them an email, and I tried to contact an English speaking branch, but they needed my account number to do something ... I gave up! LOL!

Kobo is owned by Rakuten but I don't know what a Rakuten member is. I'm a Kobo VIP member, not sure it's really worth it though.

Kobo is owned by Rakuten but I don't know what a Rakuten member is. I'm a Kobo VIP member, not sure it's really worth it though. Rakuten (formerly ebates) is rewards site. Basically, you shop using their links to stores and you earn a rebate (amount varies depending on what's posted for that day) on your qualified purchases.
It shows I've earned $882 since 11/2000 so it does add up.
If anyone needs a referral link, please let me know. You will earn $10 after your first purchase if you use the link.

5 year member with $1,113 in cash back. I just got 10% back on my new set of tires so my next Big Fat Check will indeed be that!

For some reason, when they made the switch to Rakuten, all my old eBates information disappeared. So no clue on my actual total without digging through old PayPal statements. It says my current Lifetime Cash amount is $46.00 since 1/5/19. I don't use it nearly as much as I used to since I got a Chase United Visa card. The United MileagePlus Shopping Portal gets the bulk of my online shopping these days. The miles do more for me than the cash rebates.
ETA: I just did a quick search and found that if I logged in via Facebook my old information comes up. So member since 11/25/14 and $174.66 Lifetime cash back. Now to figure out how to merge the accounts.

202.88 member since mid 15. not bad since I almost always forgot to use it for long time. Later, I'd often forget to use it. Now, I'd say I have a 60/40 shot of remembering. Especially when on phone. I don't think I've ever used it on phone even though app is there. At least (somewhat) I'm getting better.
