Trying to get yesterdays damning testimony out of the news and create hijinks to stall the hearings. The more they stall and gets past the new year the slimmer the chances of impeachment. I don't think it's going to work this time tho. Yeah, this will play on Fox and that other conservative station (OAN?), but it won’t play well anywhere else. Don’t mind them... just creating content for their party’s network to run for the next 24 hours since there is little else actually happening in the world that they will acknowledge as fact. And they need to keep the POTUS entertained with things that please him 🙄

Ha, totally missed that, thanks! I have been reading so many articles today my eyes are starting to blur. Either way, Gowdy was still insistent that anyone not on the included panels was not allowed at the hearings. So I’m sure he feels the same way about today’s depositions and will be denouncing his colleagues publicly. Trey Gowdy did not run for re-election in 2018 and is now out of Congress. I believe (have seen conflicting reports) that he is part of Trump’s impeachment legal defense team. I was disappointed to read that, honestly.

I was disappointed to read that, honestly. Gowdy was in talks to head the War Room for the Impeachment, but would have been unable to participate until after the new year due to a statute that says former lawmakers cannot communicate with or appear before their former colleagues for a year after leaving Congress. Although rules have never stopped them before.

So the obvious question now is, is this all to detract from the content of the impeachment investigations and change the narrative to the Democrats “not being transparent, and/or is something else happening right now they are trying to detract from? Trying to get yesterdays damning testimony out of the news and create hijinks to stall the hearings. The more they stall and gets past the new year the slimmer the chances of impeachment. I don't think it's going to work this time tho. I feel like I'm going to ask a realllly stupid question, but why does stalling the hearings and pushing past the new year make the chance of impeachment slimmer? Can you unconfuse a confused woman? Thanks!

There will be public hearings but right now the committee is gathering evidence.

I think some of this is Matt Gaetz’s audition for a 2024 run at the White House. I mean, he’s an amoral, craven, feckless, moronic scumbag with a checkered past, so he could definitely get elected.

Plus it sounds like they were getting cranky and needed a snack, based on the cheez-its. I’ve given my kid cheez-its when he needed a snack to avoid a full blown melt down.

Because we are talking about this instead of talking about this: Yesterday Bill Taylor testified that there was quid pro quo with regards to Ukraine aide for the purpose of helping Trump politically.

I love how the same people who screamed endlessly about Hillary’s emails and classified information marched right into a SCIF with recording devices with no real regard for the security of the classified information being shared there. They were furious with her about Benghazi and endangering Americans working there, but the information shared in classified spaces is classified to protect Americans currently working abroad.

I wrote a scathing e-mail to my representative yesterday after I heard this. It won't do any good, but it made me feel better.
I liked him (Steve Scalise) at first but now I realize he's just like all the rest. I'm glad he wasn't killed in that shooting a few years ago but right now that's as far as I'll go.
He's a spineless jellyfish just like the rest of them!

Please call the Florida Bar Association at 1-866-352-0707 to make a disciplinary complaint for felony witness tampering and obstruction of an investigation. His license # is 48962 and he violated code 18USC1512. I am afraid that he is auditioning to be Trumps running mate if he decides to dump Pence.

They should be arrested, but that might've been their hope so they could claim to be martyrs to the cause.
Disgraceful, juvenile, lazy minded village idiots.

So 13 of the "storm the hearing" gang are on the 3 committees holding the hearings, had access to the room and were able to ask questions.

So 13 of the "storm the hearing" gang are on the 3 committees holding the hearings, had access to the room and were able to ask questions. I’m sure this was planned in case they were detained or arrested—so they can say crazytown Dems, arresting republicans who were permitted access. I hope every last one of them loses their security clearances because of raking in their electronics. I hope every last one of them is censured for intimidation of the witness. Republicans are such liars.

I hope every last one of them loses their security clearances because of raking in their electronics. Unfortunate they did that and should be censored! Sgt of Arms was notified. But it showed that the room, after all, is NOT safe, someone did text and/or call out! Others said their phones were not on, but that does not stop hackers! One claimed his phone was encrypted. The room is in the 2nd basement under the visitor center in the Capitol.

There is video on twitter showing these upstanding Congressmen walking into the room with their phones on, despite their statements that the phones were off. And a photo of Gaetz standing directly in front of the sign that forbids all electronics in the room.
Lets also point out that the witness, a civil servant, paid for her own lawyer to attend the hearing with her. And that, because of these disrespectful assholes, they hearing was delayed 5 hours, at cost to her.
And that these pigs, had food delivered into the hearing room, to accommodate them.
And even though the room was swept for bugs, after they left, (again an unnecessary cost to us the taxpayers), there is no proof that a bug was not planted in this room.
Call me a cynic, but nothing would surprise me from Gaetz and Gym Jordan, and this crew of screeching republicans.
And women are too emotional to hold public office....

They are a bunch of A$$holes! I wish their security clearances would be rescinded, and they should be censored and removed from serving on all committees. If they don't know how to follow the rules, they should not be allowed to play! Even though they can't be removed from office, they should be prohibited from being able to do anything or make any decisions except a vote.

Has anyone called? What did they say? Actually I did. I was told I needed to put it in writing, and that it needed to include and oath, and must be mailed in. I just need to get to bank to get it notarized. The Florida Bar 651 E. Jefferson Street Tallahassee, FL 32399-2300 Although I don't really hold out much hope. Gaetz was recently investigated for his threat to Michael Cohen and only received a letter of chastisement. But maybe if enough complaints are filed (along with his multiple impaired driving convictions), he may not be employable after he is voted out...
