Recently got the autumn school portraits. And still have lots of October photos to scrap.
I'm hoping to claim this Tuesday as a scrapping day, but we will see.
I have so much desire to scrap, but definitely lacking in time and energy.

I am trying to keep my scrappy mojo going after the 12-hour crop I went to. As much as I hate to say it-- being the lifelong messy person that I am-- keeping my work area clear when I'm creating really DOES help. (Darn it, anyway!! LOL!)
I have about 13 SB pages (six 2-pg and one 1-pg) in process that I started at that crop and I'm working on completing them. I had page bases made before the crop, which helped a TON; at the crop, I matched photos to the pages for about 10 layouts altogether. Over the weekend I finished a couple of those layouts (except for the journaling- that's my nemesis), and I even made my own embellishments for one of them using my rubber stamps!! Four rubber stamp sets and fussy cutting... yay, me!!
And both times I worked in there I picked up my desk so everything is ready for the next time I want to go in and work... *maybe* I will be able to keep that trend up long enough to make it a habit. (or at least until Friday, when I plan to scrapbook all day long, since I have the day off, lol.)

Who's scrapping with me today?!😀
I'm off from work, came home after taking kids to school, and jumped right in!
Six layouts completed so far.
Funny thing, though. I can't find a sticker sheet that i planned to use. I don't remember using it up, though I definitely used some. Oh well, just pushing through.
I'm also making a mini goal for myself to use loose 12x12 sheets that have been mainly ignored. I've cut into three so far.
Anyone else creating?

I’m working from home and cleaning my house so that I can get my tree up this weekend. I’m only about 30% done but 100% over doing anything else.
I should probably just scrapbook.

Holy scrapping, Batman!😁
Fifteen 8.5x11" layout pages
Six 12x12" layout pages
I made a good dent in my loose pattern papers. Used nearly all my (admittedly small) Halloween/autumn stash.
Used rubber stamps I haven't used in a year.
Used many, many stickers.
Definitely feeling the mojo.

(I used to love all those weird expressions from the Batman TV show, lol) At the end of my workday, I decided I wanted to take tomorrow off as a vacation day... hardly anyone is in our office-- no production people will be there (I work at a nutritional supplement company) because they just completed inventorying everything, and I would have been one of only 4 office workers there out of about 20 (and a couple maintenance people). Soooo... I am going to scrapbook all day tomorrow, instead! hopefully, anyway. On my way home from work today, I kind-of-impulse-bought this Michael's mobile storage tower for 60% off-- how could I pass that up?!? and I'd really like to get it put together, too, unless it looks like it would take too long. If it's too fiddly, I'd rather scrap first and put furniture together later.

I was scheduled off yesterday, and just decided "This is a scrapping day." I didn't touch laundry. Didn't scrub the bathroom. Sat down and scrapped until it was time to pick the kids up from school. and it was totally worth it. 😁 Many happy scrappy wishes for a productive day for you! Let us know how easy the tower is to set up & how you like it when you do!👍

Ok I’m playing with my new toy!
I got tired of waiting to collect 4 days of pictures to print & do my photo journal. I’m sure Walgreens is tired of providing an envelope & index print every 4 days for 1 4x6 photo. Since I only print on sale it can’t be cost effective for them lol. Plus due to construction my Walgreens is horrible to get in & out of right now.
So Monday I found a deal on an HP sprocket for $85 & I bought myself a birthday gift.
I’ve only printed 2 things but this is great!!
Yes, yes I know I’m downing more per 2x3 print. But right now I don’t care. I got a deal on the paper for 31 cents a print and I’m ok with that.

The Sprocket will be worth it! You need to factor in the value of your time, and the cost of gas.

Yesterday I finished my four-week teaching prac placement. And now I'm on 'holidays' (if such a thing exists with 2 very young kids and a husband who works away). But before I can even begin to think about making anything, I need to clean up... I don't even know where to begin : :
What started as just a clean up ended up becoming a complete overhaul and reorganisation of my space and supplies. And I'm finally finished! I haven't actually purged any supplies, I am pretty happy with everything that I own (even though there is a lot of it and I need to start using it up). But what I have purged is a huge amount of storage - boxes, containers, tubs, etc. I've really made an effort to be a bit smarter about how and where all my supplies are stored and it's helped me to make the most of my small space. I am excited to start creating in here again. And I'm feeling inspired to really start working through my supplies and finishing off some projects that are currently occupying precious real estate here.
Out of curiosity, are scrappy audiences (aka, you guys ) interested in craft room tours on YouTube?

Confession: I took zero Thanksgiving photos this year.
I felt sour and sad the whole day, even though nothing particularly bad happened.

Confession: I took zero Thanksgiving photos this year. I felt sour and sad the whole day, even though nothing particularly bad happened. It’s really ok. Apparently I did that the 2 Christmases ago, no photos. What was I thinking? I’m teeny bit whistful I don’t have pictures but not anything I can do about it now. I’ll live. I’m sorry you didn’t have the day you thought you’d have.

I didn't get too much scrapping done over my Thanksgiving weekend... but I still have the scrappy mojo going, and for that I'm grateful! I put together that M's storage tower that I bought, and already have it next to my desk. It was a bit fiddly to put together, but with an electric screwdriver, it went together pretty easy. Not quick, but easy. One of the top shelves holds all of my paper cutters so they're OFF of my workspace unless I need them- THAT was worth the cost, right there, in my opinion!! I did a one-page layout and actually did some hand-sewing on the page; it was much more detailed than I usually get lately on my layouts, but I really like how it turned out: Feathered Friends (on Instagram) a side note and a question: I chose to do a sewing stitch on this layout that looks a bit like bird tracks... does anyone else make sure small details *match* their layout, even though no one else will probably notice? No one else would get that connection when they're looking at the layout... but *I* know, lol!

I love the sewing and I think all who look at it will "get" that it is tracks, so cute!!! What a great job, and perfect for the bird photos!
