My SO and I have one that is only used for financial stuff. That email is never given out to anyone else, even relatives. We also don’t use it for PayPal since we would need to give out that address.
Then we have a separate recovery account that is used when we need to reset a password. That one is also not given out to anyone.
Then we each have our own accounts. I use mine for everything else. I tried to have one for signing up for things that I had to sign up for like contests and stuff, but I kept forgetting to use it so now I just use my regular account for everything. Gmail has good filtering.

One at work and one at home. The home account was set up 20 years ago for the family but it seems to be mainly mine. Dh has a second email but still uses the old email account too.

Three.
My work account. My main personal account used for bills and the few personal emails I send these days. My old personal account that I rarely use any more, just for promotional stuff.
I do have an old AOL account floating around out there I think, but it's been 4-5 years since I last tried to get in and I couldn't remember the password and gave up. I may also have a hotmail account out there but I only used it a few times.
Dh just has one currently. He is self employed and he uses it for work and bills only.

2 my main one which I eventually decided to just use for my work stuff (own our own business). Gmail, I'm happy with the way they filter store promos from the main stuff.

Well... depends on quite how you mean that.
I have a work email and a personal email. My personal email has several aliases for shopping, reading/newsletters, finances, junk mail, etc, so I only give out my REAL email to actual people I know. I have a ton of rules set up for email that comes in to the aliases, so a lot of it ends up straight in the trash. But then I have old email addresses - four of them - that are still valid and forward to my current email. I don't send email from those accounts or give out those email addresses anymore but they are the addresses that some people in my life (currently or in the past) would use. My mom STILL hasn't stopped using my email from years ago, despite telling her to multiple times. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Several. One for most things - no spam for 17 years till some church idiot published it on the public Facebook site for about 4 hours until I strangled him, and within that time spammers had got it and I've been receiving about 1000 spam emails a month ever since. I'm finding it very hard to forgive and forget that! One for crafting. One specifically for shopping. One for junk. One that I don't use any more but occasionally still gets spammed. 3 for work.
All different passwords.

Probably 5 or 6. I set up new ones every now and then to get the free promos for first-time users/subscribers on different websites.

I have 6
1. my main one used for personal, shopping, etc 2. my work one 3. one I set up for shopping or if I needed an email but didn't care about receiving anything from them 4. one for high school stuff for my DDs. The youngest is now a Sophomore in college and oldest just got married so I no longer use it. 5. one I created just so I could have IE/ google bookmarks different from my personal one at work. I keep 2 browsers open all day 6. one for the civic organization I'm in. This one is accessible by several people and hopefully one day one of those won't be me!

Three - work, personal, and ordering. I never use my personal Gmail for ordering things online. Yahoo can have the junk.

I have three. A Yahoo account I have had forever (my first email acct) and still actively use. Another Yahoo account that is strictly just personal use (family & close friends). And a Gmail account that I now give out for shopping and online sign-up use.

I have two emails, plus the icloud (still not entirely sure how that whole icloud thing works....technology challenged)
My main email, that is my email for everything. Correspondence, coupons, mailing lists, breaking news, daily news briefs, newsletters, credit and debit card purchase alerts, etc...
My second email, is simply for backup...the recovery email. I also give it, if I don't want someone to have my main email. For instance a high school friend was hounding me for my email , for sales pitch purposes. I gave her my secondary email. She sent emails multiple times a day. I do a once a week/once month whenever I happen to log in...delete without reading. When she inquired "did you get my emails?" I said "oh, I don't read any of the sales pitch emails, I just delete them monthly without reading any of them, since I'm not going to purchase anything". She stopped emailing me.

A shopping/give out to anyone address that I check every few days and delete 90% of the messages unopened.
My personal email.
An email dedicated to one of my volunteer gigs.

A ton, but I manage a retail e-commerce site and I’m constantly needing to test things on different email platforms.
I also use 10 Minute Mail often if I need just something temporary...gone in 10 minutes.
Active and using on a regular basis for everyday life things...I have two (a personal and work).

Probably about six. I actively use three of them and a fourth is just for stuff I have to order for work so the correspondence doesn’t get lost if I have to follow up on anything or track a package. One is an iCloud address I never use and one is an old work email for a different business that I don’t need anymore.
