They stated that the remains were “consistent of gabby” but stated it was not 100% confirmed, but her parents were notified. There is absolutely no way it is not her. She has identifying tattoos. And they would not have said the things they did in the press conference if they weren’t 100% sure. Has the body gone through the legal process of confirmation? No. But come on, we all know that’s just a formality at this point. Sure, but they were not confirming it was her in the earlier press conference. |

They found remains. Had they found a body they would probably have said so. I know nothing. Speculating as many have already done here. There was a press conference. They said it was her. They stated that the remains were “consistent of gabby” but stated it was not 100% confirmed, but her parents were notified. |

Worked all day, which isn’t normal, hubby still in Louisiana, grabbed something at the store for dinner, finally got home around 7:30, and instead we ate bowls of cereal!
I missed watching Ohio state play, but will be geared up for the Browns tomorrow.
Ribs are still hurting, very uncomfortable sleeping, but at least I don’t have to get up early tor anything tomorrow!

I've been reading a ton of news articles about the current and impending supply chain issues. I don't want to set off some sort of panic-buying spree around here, but I am curious if you either have experienced delays or are involved in any industries where you have current delays or future delays projected (all of the publishers I follow, eg, are predicting delays on winter books). I've noticed both that my clothing orders have taken longer than expected (a few took two to three months) and that some of the online retailers who normally have fall clothes in early August are just now rolling out fall clothes (and still have their summer clothes up, not on sale, on their websites, with more limited fall offerings than normal). Any other delays you've noticed or know about? Yes! It’s been hard to get specific supplies for our work! |

Well…the pain was so bad today that I went to ER. I broke my ribs. Broke them. Opposite side from where I bruised my ribs back in July. I’m stressed and struggling—hubby is still in Louisiana, I’m responsible for kiddos & dog, and literally all my siblings went on vacation this week! Ooohh girl....I fell on Christmas day out on my lanai and busted a couple of ribs. That pain is NO joke...I actually heard them crack when I went down and was like...oh shizzz...this gon' be bad. Oh, and it WAS. <---said in my best dramatic Keith Morrison Dateline voice Couple hours later and I could barely move. I was eating my Christmas Chinese food dinner whilst simultaneously crying...lol. It would take me like 5 minutes to get into or out of bed for a few days. Terrible....hope you feel better. You are so right, the pain is something else! I’m going to be covered in lidocaine patches to just take the edge off!!!!! |

All in the hands of the courts. Maybe his former constituents if he ops for a jury trial. He should have the book thrown at him, but I am no longer sure the courts support honesty, morality or punishment. They allow those charged to plea down at our expense to the detriment of our country. I won’t be surprised to hear he off’ed himself. Just like that republican judge in Maryland did a few days ago. Or like Epstein. Or like the guy involved in the Ohio First Energy scheme did. Fucking cowards! |

Their lies are so god damned bad that I’m worried American will never get better. I’m tired of shitty people. I’m tired of people who are either friends or family who cannot respond or check in. I’m tired of hurting. My body is killing me—I have a torn meniscus to begin with, and last night I tripped over the dog, fell hard and my whole body is jarred and hurt. My knees are killing me. My fist got between the floor and my boob and it feels like I busted a rib—that’s twice in 2 moths I’ve hurt my ribs!! I just laid on the floor and cried—had to get ip and take out the trash!!! Today I can barely walk, my knees are locking up and every inch of me hurts. I am so sorry. I hope that you go to the ER, your family doctor or Urgent Care soon. I am worried that you did break something and you could have torn more from your fall. I am also tired of many things and hope things take a turn for the better soon. Bride is planning dusty blue and blush (pink) for colors. Tables will be set with white cloths, white chair covers, dusty blue napkins and chair sashes, centerpieces tbd but will have a touch of blush flowers in them. Would you do silver or gold as a metal accent (ex. may use charger plates and some candle holders in metallic). thanks! If you’re renting chargers, etc., there are more options than just silver/gold. White, rose gold, copper, platinum, mercury glass…. |

Sigh…. I said “self stay out of this”. But A couple of things. 1. Last January after she left the board Leowife said that she would like to do the card swap with the group that was in the 2020 swap if we wanted to do it again 2021. The choice was ours. 2. A couple of days ago those of that were in the 2020 swap received an email from Leowife saying she had received an email from a pea asking if she was going to do swap again this year like she said she was in January. She said yes if people were interested. If anyone was not interested in doing the swap let her know and she would remove their name. Otherwise she would send details to those of that wanted to participate. 3. Today we received an email from Leowife saying she received an email from whoever is running the unlimited swap saying she was going to do one. Because of that Leowife decided to bow out so her swap is dead. There was no permission asking or any need to coordinate with a non-pea. There would have been choices for the peas to decide which one they wanted to participate in. Two choices for the peas that did not participate in Leowife’s swap in 2020 and three choices for us who did. Finally there is absolutely nothing wrong with an individual, who has done swaps previously on this board, doing one off the board with individuals that had been in her previous swaps on board. They simply would of had nothing to do whatsoever with this board. Quit trying to make her the bad guy. A couple of things- 1. No one was trying to make the previous swap organizer the bad guy—peas were simply setting the record straight after another pea posted misinformation on the events leading up to the swap from last year. 2. I didn’t say that anyone asked permission—I stated that no one needed to ask. There IS a difference. 3. No one said that it was wrong or not allowed to do swaps off the board. The comment made was that it was strange. When the thread about the card swaps appeared this year, and current peas began speaking about it, it started all about options for the current peas here with no mention of the past swap until one pea came in with disinformation. 4. Where is your hand-slapping for the one pea who was awful to michym? Where is your hand slapping for that same person driving the misinformation on the card threads this year? 5. LEO “canceling” her swap has nothing to do with this board. It’s HER choice (once again controlling and affecting those who on her list). People on her list and peas here can choose what they want to do all on their own. Obviously, no peas who were not on Leo’s list last year would be able to swap with her this year—they’d all be excluded. what michym and lisaCharlotte are doing is INCLUSION—and not creating drama or cliques over card swapping. 6. Stop trying to rewrite history. No one tried to “make LEO the bad guy”. Last year she did that all on her own. |

It’s a thing. EVERYONE from around Akron/Cleveland/Columbus knows Barberton Fried chicken! I cannot eat it anymore because of a new wheat allergy, (and I used to only get their pork chops anyway!) but I love their rice pilaf! I agree and from this point forward there are truly only TWO exchanges/swaps One by MichyM (smaller group) and one by lisacharlotte . Doesn't really matter at this point anyway. I got an email from Leowife today and after hearing about what was going on with the board from various Peas, she has decided to bow out this year. So we are now down to two card swaps. The smaller group hosted by MichyM and the larger one hosted by Lisacharlotte. And it was already decided—no one here on refupeas needed to get “permission” or coordinate with a non-pea to do either holiday card swap. |
