My 10 yo DD has increased from 16 to 22 degrees in 7 months. We are following up at the end of Dec. to see if she needs to get a brace. For the last several days she says her neck hurts and I thought that her pillows may be junk. Any recommendations and/or does this seem reasonable to get decent pillows for her? I have not done much research on this. TIA

There is no one size fits all, but as someone with scoliosis I know that I am very picky about my pillows and my mattress. My husband let me pick out our mattress and I know it isn’t perfect for him, but it makes all the difference for me. When I travel I try to take my pillow with me because it does make such a difference. Flatter is better for me, but it will depend on how your daughter sleeps.

I don't use a specific pillow other than the thicker ones. I usually have 3 I put under my head and 1 under my chest since I am a side/stomach sleeper.
