Elements are constantly falling off of my scrapbook pages. So here are my adhesive questions:
What is the best adhesive, do you think, for general paper crafting (I strongly prefer dry adhesives where possible)?
What do you use to get Thickers and other letters to stay put? (Damnable things)
How do you get glittered items to stick to cardstock?
Thanks everyone!

I use liquid adhesives for both those tasks, either Ranger Glossy Accents or Nuvo white liquid glue. They also work with metal embellishments. One of my pet peeves is stickers that don't stick!

I use photo squares for almost everything. Tiny flattish things I put through the X. Small dimensional things (I'm not big on those though) I use glue dots. If I want dimension I use foam squares/popdots.
Any time I've used liquid adhesives I end up with a sticky mess so I've learnt to avoid them

I am currently in love with scor tape. I've been using a lot of textured papers and making shaker cards with MFT shaker pouches. Scor tape is the only adhesive that keeps thing where they are supposed to be.

I use ATG for my dry adhesive and Best Glue Ever for a liquid glue.

For items like that, I would use Gina K or Lawn Fawn liquid glue...I know you want dry, but for chunkier or heavier items, liquid glue is great. Neither of those take long to dry or cause your paper to buckle.

I use photo squares, my little xyron x, and Nuvo glue for pretty much everything.

Anything paper to paper I use a variety of tape runners and I’ve never had any issues. I also have a double sided red tape I use too.
Anything that requires a wet glue ie. chipboard - tombow aqua or glossy accents. Glossy accents being my favourite wet glue but I don’t use wet glue very often.
Everyone needs some good foam dots, double sided red tape and a tiny attacher in their stash. Some elements just have to be stapled on to stand the test of time ie. rubber pieces

ATG for paper, and even for thickers that are broad enough to take a bit of it.
Scor tape is unfailing- I just bought the scrapbook .com version and it's a lot less pricey
And for liquid (for thin thickers/letters/glitter) I use Art Institite, Art Glitter Glue with the silver tip on the bottle...its way cheaper than lawn fawn or gina k and equally as good or better.

ATG is the best bang for you buck! Long, strong hold and inexpensive.

ATG for paper, photos and very thing items.
Tombow Mono liquid for bulky items and thickers
*I am irrationally annoyed by the adhesive on Thickers. it really sucks. I so wish they would improve it just make them without it.*

As much as I hate the size of my ATG gun, it's a gem for having things stick to my pages. NOTHING falls off! When it comes to smaller things, I use Ranger Multi Matte Medium or Distress Collage Medium. Both are great. I bought a bottle of Nuvo glue from an LSS that used to be in my area and really liked it too, but it kept clogging. I emptied the bottle and found huge clumps of dried glue. I'm not sure if it was old or if it shipped it cold weather but it makes me leary of buying it again.

ATG and Art Glitter Glue. Those are my go-tos although I have others.

For thickers, I ALWAYS apply liquid glue - Tombow Mono Aqua.
For foam thickers, they seem to stick very well. It is just the plastic style and chipboard ones.
For regular paper crafting I use EK Herma Vario Permanent adhesive squares in my Herma roller.
I have used that for over 10 years and my layouts are still held together well.

Aileen's turbo tacky glue. This is what I use along with redline tape when I make paperbag books and cover the chipboard with fabric.

It's really interesting to see the different answers.
I have several of these options in my stash. I do have an ATG gun; I just hate using it because of the size!
And yes, why can't they just make thickers that STICK?
Thanks, ladies!

And yes, why can't they just make thickers that STICK? I agree! It is the one thing I hate about them, I see them collect at the bottom of my pages. Can't they get together with 3M and get some better adhesive (Like ATG) for the back of those things??
