“Trump’s letter to Pelosi is like his tweets put to letterhead. He makes his regular false claims (the Electoral College result; cost of the Mueller probe; energy production; etc.), uses exclamation marks, and accuses Pelosi of lying about praying for him.”
Random response
“I'm disappointed he didn't go with ALL CAPS.”

Daniel Dale..
”Trump also made some old and some new false claims about Ukraine. Among other things, he claimed the whistleblower's complaint bears no relationship to his call with Zelensky -- this continues to be his most frequent Ukraine lie -- and wrongly described a recent Biden comment.”
I kind of feel sorry for Ukraine.

That must be some letter trump wrote. While I posted it I didn’t readily. Reading 6 pages of his rambling rants is not something I want to do.
NBC News..
”President Donald Trump on Tuesday excoriated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi over her effort to have him impeached, calling it a partisan “crusade,” an “unprecedented and unconstitutional abuse of power” and a “spiteful” “election-nullification scheme.”
In a rambling six-page letter, Trump accused Pelosi of having “cheapened the importance of the very ugly word, impeachment” and said she was “declaring open war on American Democracy” by pursuing his impeachment.”
Have you ever noticed how he takes what he is accused of doing and applies it to someone else?
“You dare to invoke the Founding Fathers in pursuit of this election-nullification scheme — yet your spiteful actions display unfettered contempt for America’s founding and your egregious conduct threatens to destroy that which our Founders pledged their very lives to build,” Trump wrote.
“It is a terrible thing you are doing, but you will have to live with it, not I!” Trump added in the blistering and brooding letter.
Trump added that he’d been “deprived of basic Constitutional Due Process” from “the beginning of this impeachment scam.”
“More due process was afforded to those accused in the Salem Witch Trials,” he wrote.”
I’m still amazed he even knows the Founding Fathers actually existed.
And she “dares”. 😀

Still from NBC News
”Moments later, Trump told reporters inside the Oval Office that he doesn’t take any responsibility for the actions that have lead to the House’s planned vote Wednesday on his impeachment, maintaining he did nothing wrong and that Democrat’s actions will leave a “mark on this country.”
That is the problem, he never takes any responsibility for his actions.

“In every trial there has ever been in the Senate regarding impeachment, witnesses were called....When you have a witness who was there, who was engaged in it, who was in the middle of it, telling you about what they were doing...that’s a totally different case.” — Lindsey Graham. 1-11-1999”

There's no way that letter was written by Trump. There are words in it that he doesn't even know the meaning of.
And it's far too coherent - we know how he rambles when he speaks and writes and tweets.
My guess is it was written by Stephanie Grisham or her associate and he signed it.
The only thing it has in common with his other rantings is that it's all a lie - he has no idea what the constitution says so he can't possibly say anything is unconstitutional!

The president has written an 'unhinged' 6 page letter to Nancy Pelosi, all the new people are trying to get through it! They do think he has written it.

Why would he start now? Do you remember during the campaign, when someone asked him whether he's ever asked God for forgiveness? He said No, he's never done anything he needed forgiveness for. eta: I totally agree that the letter is a set-up for whatever happens after, so he can say it wasn't legitimate after the vote. I hope nothing bad DOES happen, but they're laying the groundwork now. Just like they're laying the groundwork to see what people say about him being eligible to run again in 2024. That's what he / they have done his entire term so far; they do and say outrageous things to see what plays to the audience (aka 'gets good ratings' in his reality-TV-star viewpoint) then they adjust their actions accordingly. (but c'mon; saying something is not Constitutional, when it's RIGHT THERE, IN the Constitution?!? honestly!!)

They will not soon forgive your perversion of justice and abuse of power.

Trump no more wrote that entire letter then I did. I absolutely think there are sentences he stuck in there here and there, but at least 90% of that letter was absolutely not written by him.

”The president says he doesn't believe his letter will change anything, but that he is registering his objections “for the purpose of history.”
Yea, future generations will look at this and wonder two things.
1. That they’re reading the rankings of a crazy man.
2. And why was he elected president.

linkPolitico.. ”SCOOP: Trump personally intervened to slash Puerto Rico’s Medicaid money as part of budget deal.” From the article.. ”President Donald Trump intervened to cut the federal government's Medicaid funding for Puerto Rico as part of a larger government spending deal, according to four sources with knowledge of the discussions. The budget deal unveiled by lawmakers this week allocates up to $5.7 billion in Medicaid funds for the island over two years — instead of $12 billion over four years that Republican and Democratic leaders on two key congressional committees had endorsed after months of negotiating a long-term financial path for Puerto Rico.” Such a racist petty little boy thinking he is a man.

Who's next? Two weeks notice. Pack and leave! William Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine, will leave his position on Jan. 1, according to a person familiar with his plans.Taylor plans to turn over his responsibilities as chargé d'affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv to the current deputy chief of mission, Kristina Kvien, on Jan. 1 and leave Ukraine’s capital the following day, according to the source. Taylor’s departure was first reported by NBC News. Under the Federal Vacancies Reform Act, Taylor could remain at the post in Kyiv until Jan. 8, and his contract at the State Department extends longer than that, the source familiar with his plans said. Sen. Bob Menendez (N.J.), the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, wrote to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Tuesday raising concerns about Taylor’s reported exit and suggesting he was “unceremoniously recalling” Taylor from Ukraine. “I am extremely concerned that this suspect decision furthers the president’s inappropriate and unacceptable linking of U.S. policy to Ukraine to his personal and political benefit, and potentially your own,” Menendez said. ** Trump lashed out at Taylor during the impeachment proceedings, labeling him a “Never Trumper” and tacitly criticizing Pompeo for tapping him for the role. ** thehill.com/homenews/administration/474973-us-diplomat-william-taylor-to-leave-ukraine-post-at-the-beginning-of
