Just curious if you all hand address or use labels, and do you have your signature custom printed on the cards or sign them yourself?
Personally - I hand address and hand sign, but use a return address label.
I receive cards that have a label address, a label return address and have a custom printed signature. I think how quick it must be to get cards out, I don't mind others doing it this way but I just can't for some reason.

I have cards and envelopes with our name/address, but hand address to the recipient.

I always sign the cards but use an address label and a return address stamp(ink).

i hand address the envelope, write the recipients name in the card with a little message and sign it.
sometimes i use return address labels, if i got them for free as a thank you for a donation. usually just handwrite a "short version" of my return address (no name, street address, city and postal code).
i still haven't gotten a single card this year. i can't say anything as i haven't sent them out in the several prior years - but did this year so fingers are crossed!!!

We must be twins - I'm the exact same - hand sign/address, but stick on the return address label (unless I am too lazy to get up to get them, in which case I sometimes hand write that too. Even though taking the 10 seconds to get the labels would be a lot less time. I can be totally illogical). I also feel compelled to add a little note if I'm sending to someone I haven't talked to in a while.

Hand write the card and the envelope. I don't bother with a return address on Christmas cards.

Hand address, usually hand write the names inside (but not always, sometimes I print our names inside and add a small handwritten message with it) and I usually make custom return address labels that match the theme of the card inside.

I do the same. Last year was the first time I knew how to create the labels for my list. It saved me hours on getting out my cards.

I use labels for the address. It cuts down on any misread by the machinery. I didn’t add a return address this year. I handwrite my sentiment and signature.

I handwrite their address, but use a return address sticker. Inside, I write their names, add a little sentence or two, and sign it. I like to make the cards feel personal to the receiver.

I handwrote everything on about 125 cards this year. Yesterday I ordered a return address stamp! It was a lot.

I make the cards then dh uses return address labels and signs them and writes the addresses. For the card swap I use address labels for both addresses and sign the card.
Since we have all our friends/family addresses on a word doc I should just print them as labels.

I always write out the addresses and use return address labels. If I send out photo cards, I don’t sign the cards. Sometimes I’ll write “Merry Christmas” on the back. If I’m sending out regular cards, I sign them with all our names.

Return address is a sticker. I hand address, sign and write a small note on the back of each one since they are photo cards. I did them last night. Glad that's done! LOL

I only use return address stickers. Everything else I handwrite, but I enjoy writing cursive by hand. I always have. I'm a paper and ink girl vs. someone who is more tech inclined. For instance to keep track of things like grocery lists I carry a journal in my purse and write things down in it instead of using my Iphone. I've been told over and over what beautiful handwriting I have. I don't know how I got it. I think it's in the genes or how I was taught, or maybe just luck. I can't take any credit for it. It's just how my hand works. I do write something inside the card for friends and family. For the Pea swaps that I've been in I write a little something too. I think it makes it more personal.

I used to hand write everything except return address. I think I’m getting arthritis in my thumb. Writing is getting more painful and sloppy, especially this year bc I have a repetitive stress injury from fine snipping 8 cups of parsley instead of putting it in the blender. My plan was not to send cards this year but I could do labels.

I always do a return address sticker. I used to sign the letter (while having our names printed on the photo card) but I stopped doing even that. Some years I use labels, but some years I write out the addresses--lately it's been writing the addresses because something is wrong with my Word document and the labels don't always print right. About 2/3 of our cards go to people at church because of a big exchange we've started doing, but if I can get a label sheet for those then I'll use that, otherwise I write the names.

Guilty as charged. lol I joined the Christmas card exchange and had a few other irons hit me at the beginning of the month, so I panicked with so many to do and took the easy way out. I normally hand write a personal message as well as my signature, but didn't to that with the exchange cards. I will do better next year.

Hand written note inside and hand written address then Christmas return address labels. I include my dad on the inside too since my mom passed.

I used to have all of the addresses saved to a file and for address labels and just changed up the fronts to match the style of the current card. Then handwrite the sentiment and signature inside. But we had computer issues and I haven’t done that for years. Our Veltentine’s Day cards next year will be the first time I don’t handsign the cards and that’s because I am enjoying playing with foil and I think it will look good with them.

For Family/Friends, I handwrite their address but use return address labels for 2Peas Cards, I use labels for both - I would like to handwrite them, because I like the look better and feel they are more personal, but I have carpel tunnel and my hand falls asleep if I do too much writing so it is easiest to use labels for these.
I sign the inside of all cards.

though i don't send then often anymore, if i do i always print the address on the envelope in a fun/fancy font, also the return. i don't sign the cards, it is just printed (we use photo cards).

This exactly. I have arthritis and some nerve damage in my right hand, so I could never write all of the 2Peas addresses and have them still be legible! i, too, sign the inside of all cards.

Hand address cards, return address is stamped, hand signed inside, messages in some. I also sign the back of my cards, which I make, with my initials and last name and the year.
