So, I like to have nice looking nails but I've given up on gel, acrylic and dipped (SNS) because my natural nails can't handle any of it. I've done them all several times and all it does is destroy my natural nails and it takes them 6+ months to grow out and not be thin and weak. And I don't want to continuously wear them so that's not an option either.
I thought I would try stick on nails just to see how they looked and held up. Well I think I've found my answer. I love them. I'm wearing the short style so they don't interfere with anything, they look great and so far they've stayed on and looked good for 7+ days. Hallelujah!
This is the brand I've tried . They have the adhesive already on the nail so no glue is required. So far I haven't worn any with any of the bling on them- not my style I guess.
Anyone wear these?? Let's talk! What brand do you like, how long do they last for you, have you tried the ones that require glue?
I'm so happy having nice, pretty, even nails again!

No, I bought mine at Walmart I think. Maybe Target. They're in drugstores too.

How long do they last on?

I had them on for 7 days then took them off. They weren't lose I just decided to try a different set. These have only been on since Tuesday.
I believe I will get at least 10 days from them. We'll see! These aren't the "Lee press on" nails from back in the day. They're secure, don't feel like they're going to pop off and look really good. You can't tell that they're "press on" as opposed to gel, acrylic, etc.

I read on a Reddit forum that press on nails were making a comeback.

Can we see a photo of your nails? I would love to see how they look! Interesting to hear that they hold up. I just think about the fake nails from the 80s/90s that popped off at least once a day. I see that some are buy 1 get 1 free on their website. I might have to try them.

Me!! I love them!! I also use the Impress or Kiss brands. I usually pick them up at Ulta. I have tried different brands with the glue, but, those a are horrible and chew up my nails. I only will use the ones with the glue tabs in the nail. I can at least 2 weeks from a set. I had one set stay on so long that the nails themselves started to deteriorate, kind of melt...so, I took them off. They do a little damage to the nail over time, but, nothing like gels for me. Gel nails are the devil. I also love all the different looks, and the cute accent nails that are often included. I never could find a manicurist that could master an accent look. The only drawback for me is that after about a week there is a very slight lift at the base, as your own nail grows. When I put my hands through my long hair, they catch in that small gap and it often rips hairs out. Ouch! Also, they can get a little grimy underneath where there is a small space between your nail and the press on nail. Other than that, I love them, and get compliments on them all the time!

When I say they do a little damage...I mean very little. I am on a week long break since my last set, and my natural nails look totally healthy. But, when I first remove them, it does look a little like the very thinnest layer of nail on top might have gone with the leftover glue. My nails are super fragile though. So, these are a big win for me!

We had a guest on Christmas who had these on. She loved them, said they worked well. I might have to try them.
ETA: Correction.. She was wearing stick on nail polish. Said it came in strips to apply to the nails.

I use Dashing Diva Magic Press. I only wear them for fancy dress events and haven't tried to wear them longer than 2-3 days in a row, so I can't comment how long they last.

I saw on the website that it said mani-pedi, but I didn’t see any nails for toes. Has anyone seen those, or used them for that?

LOL, I don’t use them, but our neighbor at the lake cabin does. Not sure what brand she uses. We are constantly finding her shedded nails on the ground outside on the patio or on the floor inside.

Yes! Impress are my favorite! They last 4-7 days for me. But bear in mind there are plenty of extras in each packet, so if one or two come loose, you have more to choose from. The only complaint I have about these is that if you don't use the wipe provided before applying the nail, it doesn't stay on well. This is fine the first time, but if you lose a nail and want to replace it, you're kind of stuck. I've tried alcohol wipes, nail polish wipes, neither work. I wish they'd just sell those wipes separately. I've been wearing them off and on for the last 8 months or so. Like tenacious I have very fragile nails, and these cause very minimal damage. Not only that, but if I wear them non-stop for a month or two my nails actually grow underneath them, which is awesome. I never thought to look online for these; I found them at my grocery store, but their selection is tiny. KikiPea if you scroll to the very bottom of the online store, you'll see the ones for toes. Yeah, I really enjoy the Impress ones. I have some Kiss ones to try; not sure whether I've tried those or not yet. I do think that the solid adhesive on the Impress nails is far less damaging than the liquid adhesive. Thanks for pointing out the online page, Susie_Homemaker!

I too have decided to give up gel nails for a while. I love how they look but my nail tips look crappy, weak, thin, and peel afterwards. I have been using the impress ones here and there and I absolutely love them and always get compliments. I have no damage. They are short enough that they look natural. I only wear the solids. I have a dark grey on right now. They look and feel like normal nails to me.

Yes! Those are Color Street. I wear those, but the ones in this thread interest me too!

Now that I think of it, I have also used the Dashing Diva nails. I have 2 sets in my drawer ready and will probably put a set on tonight. I have been teaching my daughter how to play guitar, so, I have hesitated to put a new set on this week.

Coincidentally my DD texted me a pic of her nails with these on. The funny thing is her nails are GORGEOUS (she's 11) and people think her own nails are fake. So, not sure why she decided to put these on! They look fantastic though.
I have a set of Color Street but I haven't tested it out.

I saw on the website that it said mani-pedi, but I didn’t see any nails for toes. Has anyone seen those, or used them for that? I use the ones for your toes regularly in the summers! I started when I was running and often had bruised and/or missing toe nails. I love the French manicure style glue on toe nails. They would last 1-2 weeks each application.

I wore the Impress nails for a long weekend once and they were great! I didn't know that they made toe options, but I might have to try them this summer.

I haven't tried any press on nails. I just bought some Color Street but haven't tried it yet. I have a few short nails due to breakage and wasn't sure how it would work on those short nails. I also am a little worried about application. I've had some people say they were super easy, some say that they aren't as easy as it seems. I currently have gel (done at home) on but will look at the press on ones in the future. Good to know that they work!

I've used the ones for my toes! I got them at Walmart. They lasted great for a vacation.
I don't like the fingernail ones. They look super fake and I can't keep nails looking good because of the work I do. I try to keep gloves on, but I inevitably take them off to have better use of my fingers and end up trashing my nails. I just keep them clipped short and a clear coat on them.

I’m growing out my nails from all the gel damage. I’m going to go to ulta today & look for these. Are they thick? Coincidentally my mil gave my dd'sa set of those color street ones for Christmas. Unfortunately they are the worst possible prints.

No, they're not. I've had gel, acrylic, etc with and without tips applied and those to me are thick. They won't ever scratch an itch! These Impress that I'm wearing will scratch an itch. I've worn a set that was a neutral color with shine and right now I have a neutral color that is matte. To me these look the most like my real nails. I liked the shiny ones too but right now I'm really loving these matte nails. I got complimented on them yesterday at the dr. office.

My ulta did not have a huge selection and they are a little long for me. They probably won’t work for work. I’m a nurse. But for special occasions they will.

I wear the same ones that you linked to. I buy them at Walmart for right around $6. They're great! So easy to put on and very secure. I don't even have any issues when I'm wearing them and go horseback riding.
My only complaint is that I don't often like the colors and designs. I want them to sell ones either clear or painted white so I can use my own nail supplies and paint and decorate them before applying to my nails.

Yes! They are back in style!
One brand I’ve been tempted to try is Static Nails — they’re online only and look gorgeous.
I don’t care for the ones with adhesive because I rarely find a size that fits my nails. They’re usually too wide, and the size smaller is too small. I end up buying the Kiss set of 100 and filing/cutting them to my liking. Then I paint them and wear them with nail glue. The only time I really wear them is if my nails are looking bad (I go through occasional waves of breakage or biting/picking). Then I wear them for about 4-5 days to give my nails a chance to grow without me hassling them.

I am way too hard on my nails for these. Because my nails look so bad I think I notice other people’s nails more, I have nail envy. Two separate times, two different people I have complimented them on their super cute nails. They looked awesome. Both said they were press on nails from Walmart. I had no idea they were big these days but even I’m tempted to try them because they looked great!
