I'm 5'6-1/2" and perfectly happy with that. I'm longer in the torso proportionally than in the legs. One piece bathing suits rarely fit me well. Dresses that have a fitted waist don't often hit at the right spot either -- they fit more like an empire waist on me. I've learned to buy clothes accordingly. For example, I love high-waisted pants. They fit me better. I'm 5'7" and this is me exactly. I have a lot of trouble finding dresses that fit me. I usually stick with pants. But I like my height. I never considered myself tall, yet I find I'm typically in the taller range in a group of women.

5'4" is just a tiny bit too short to live comfortably in the world. The only exception to that was when we lived in Indonesia. I was tall there and could reach pretty much anything! At 6'2", DH was always the tallest around and very easy to spot in a crowd.

4'10" and I've never wanted to be taller or shorter, just thinner.

5 feet. I wish I were 5’6” so pants and sleeves wouldn’t have enough extra material to make a toddler dress from them. 😜

I am between 5'2" and 5'3" and I'm happy with that height. Now when I was really fat I wished I was taller so I would look thinner, but now since weight loss surgery I don't think about that anymore.
The only problem with my height is that petites are like an inch too short and regular is like an inch too long.

My sisters and my brother are all 5'8" . I am only 5'3" . I would like a couple of more inches in my torso.

I’m 5’8”. I wish I could just be a couple inches shorter. I have long arms and legs, so most women’s clothes in normal stores are just a smidge too short for me. I also have a large skeletal frame, so I have big hands, feet and joints. I can’t wear most women’s gloves, bracelets and have big wide feet. My mom and dd are 5’4”, and I’m jealous.

I’m 5’ 7 1/2”I love my height. My husband is 2 inches shorter than me. Height was on my list of qualifications for dating 🙂
I will say, I never thought about my height much growing up. But when I got married, his family talks about height all the time. They run a little short so I guess that’s why it’s talked about.

I'm 6'2" and have always wanted to be more average, less noticeable. But since that won't happen I go about my life happily. Everyone in my family is tall.

I’m 5’8” and generally happy with my height. This. Although, I’d prefer that my legs were an inch or 2 shorter, so I could buy pants and jeans off the rack.

Oh my word! Peas are a tall lot! I used to be 5’5 1/2”, but, I have lost almost an inch. I have tall Norwegians on my mom’s side, and itty bitty Italians on my dad’s side, so I guess it fits that I am about average. I would have liked to have been 5’8”-5’9” like my mom.

I’m 5’7. I would like to be 5’9 or 5’10. So not a huge change. I’m pretty happy to have the height I do. I hope my daughters take after me (or are taller than me). The first one probably will be. The younger one is predicted to be 5’2. She’s a nugget. 😁

I am almost 5’2”. I would like to be about 5’5” or 5’6” so I could reach things better. My mom is my height. My sister is about 5’6”.
When I was young, I always wore high heels. These days, I don’t care enough to do that. My feet hurt from all those years in heels.

I'm a little over 5'2" and my height is the #1 thing about my body I've always said I'd change if I could. I'd like to be about 5'6". Like some other peas, I am long in the torso but have short limbs, so pants and sleeve lengths are always too long. Petites and most "short" pant lengths are too short (usually 28" inseam), but regular length is too long (30"-31" inseam)- my perfect inseam is usually about 29 or 29.5, depending on the cut and what type of shoes I'll be wearing with them. I can't wear "petite" sizes (except sometimes for skirts) - petite pants are not long enough in the torso so both the crotch and the inseam are too short. Petite dresses in most styles have a waist that hits in the wrong spot (too high) even if the length is OK. It would just be really nice to be able to reach things up high without standing on a stool, be able to wear styles that are clearly made for tall people, not get walked over in a crowd, not have my view blocked in a theater, etc. You know...things that tall people take for granted.

I'm 5' 8 1/2" and I wish I was a little bit taller......(I wish I was a baller....I wish I had a girl who looked good; I would call her.....). I'd love to be 5/10 or 5/11.
My husband is 6'2" but has enormous hands and feet and thinks his growth was a little stunted due to childhood malnutrition, so he's hoping he still passed on very tall genes. Our girls are consistently in the 95+ percentile for height (and the 8-30 percentile for BMI--we've got some tall skinnies). We'd LOVE for them to be tall. Basketball and Volleyball....
My mom is about 5'4" and my dad is 5'6". No idea where my height came from. My sisters are also both short, but my brother is 6'3". We joke that there was a milkman out there somewhere.....

I'm 5'2" and wish I was 5'5"ish. I don't mind being short but I'm also short-waisted with big boobs. I have to very careful with what I wear because I feel like I look "stocky" even though I'm not overweight at all and my belly is almost flat. I just want to be stretched out in the middle!

I'm 5 feet tall (although I did tell DMV that I'm 5'1". ) I really wish I was at least a few inches taller, but would love to be about 5'6". My best friend is about 5'11". It's funny, we have similar problems with clothes, just opposite ends of the spectrum. My feet are really small and I have a hard time finding shoes, and she has big feet and often has a hard time finding cute shoes in her size. I buy get inserts and the stick on gel heel pads to help make shoes all the time. I think DH is 5'7" or 5'8", DS is the same height as he is and DD is about 5'3". I hate never being able to reach anything and looking up at people all the time. My dad always told me that good things come in small packages.

A shorty here at 4'11" on my good days. The only time I want to be taller is when shopping (can't reach crap) and of course clothes buying (pants, even the "short" ones are a foot too long).
My oldest brother is 5'1" and the brother just 12 months younger than him is 6'2". We have no idea where his height came from. Both our parents are short. Dad around 5'7", mom around 5'4".

I was the shortest in my family growing up. I ended up 5’2.5” (and YES that extra half inch matters, LOL). I’ve always hated being so short. My sisters are 5’4” and 5’6, my mom was about 5’6”. My dad was around 5’10 but all of my brothers are 5’11” to 6’ tall.
It sucks having to shorten almost everything from the regular departments, and petites always seem to fit weird too.
My DD is showing signs that she will be taller than I am and I hope she ends up to be about 5’5” to 5’7” so she can reach the stuff on high shelves for me at the store, LOL. DH is 6’ and everyone in his family is/was on the taller side.

5'10. I love it, except for when people point out how tall I am. My former boss used to tell me I had legs for days and make me stand up to show clients how long my legs were, which made me feel uncomfortable and objectified. She was envious of my height but didn't understand how gross her showing me off was. I also don't limit myself to specific heights when I date, the last two people I dated were both 5'7-5'8 and I didn't care at all. I'll never be a mom or stepmom and I also don't want to date someone who's into drugs and partying.... why make the pool even smaller when those dealbreakers shrink it so much as it is?
Buying jeans can be tough, but Old Navy's started to carry long inseams in their stores which helps a ton! I rarely ever wear dresses (very rare, as in I've worn one maybe 5 or 6 times in the last 7 years) but those are tricky too because my curves make them even shorter.
