I’m not necessarily a KC fan, but I really enjoy watching Mahomes. And he’s so young!!

I’m cheering for the Texans, but I think it’s a lost cause.
I was happy to see Blake Bell (the Belldozer) score a touchdown for the Chiefs. He was one of my favorite players when he played for the Oklahoma Sooners.

I can’t believe, as hot as the Texans were in the first quarter, that the Chiefs had sooooo many unanswered points. Happy though! I want Patrick in the super bowl!

I wish! We left, they were behind. I am rooting for KC. Go KC. No way can I root for a team called the Houston Texans. Who thunk that up?

It is WILD! Houston came out with a roar, 21 points the first quarter, first two touchdowns in the first 2 minutes of the game! Then they fizzled when KC finally got their stuff together.

Booooo We are a Steelers and Redskins household. With a slight draw to the Saints because SA adopted them after Katrina, but we recently started following the Texans (go figure, they are the closest team) and went to a game. Were hoping they’d win if only so we could go to an AFC Championship game!

Yes! It was a lesson in never giving up to be 24 points down and turn it around like that. I had pat Mahomes in my fantasy Football league and I won 1st place so I can’t help but still root for him - at least until the Seahawks may meet up with him in the Super Bowl and then it’s #gohawks.

That game was nuts!
Sad the Texans didn’t win, but that’s what happens when you give up! I’ll probably root for KC in the next game.

I’m cheering for the Texans, but I think it’s a lost cause. I'm a Texans fan because of Desahun, Nuk, DJ, & Carlos-my former Clemson boys. I almost had a stroke when they blew that 24 point lead. On the other hand, I'm happy for Sammy- another Clemson baby. Now, my current Clemson boys better be on point tomorrow night!!!

It’s an odd combination of teams and we’ve never run into another couple like that, very cool! I’m from Alexandria, and moved to Texas @ 7 years old and promptly eschewed any “Southern” anything. (LOL, I know!) So when my family here was pulling for the Cowboys I glommed onto the Redskins. DH was born in FL but grew up in Dallas. For some reason he just adored Terry Bradshaw as a child and has been obsessed with them since. He also pulls for a The Boys if they aren’t playing the Steelers, but you can bet when they come to Dallas next season we will be decked out in Black & Gold! Have you had an opportunity to go to an away game for the Steelers? We’ve been to 2 and it is crazy the amount of fans that are there, it can make it feel like a home game for them. Also, go watch the video of Bill Cower finding out he is being inducted into the HOF. It made me cry.

I can't pull for the Chiefs, because of Tyreek Hill.
Stillwater police records indicate that on December 12, 2014, Hill was arrested on complaints of assault of his 20-year-old pregnant girlfriend, Crystal Espinal. The police report states that the two got into an argument and he threw her around like a ragdoll, punched her in the face, sat on her and repeatedly punched her in the stomach, and choked her.
In March 2019, Hill was investigated for alleged battery after an incident in which his three-year-old son sustained a broken arm. The following month, his son was placed into care temporarily as a result of an emergency hearing conducted by the Kansas Department of Children and Families. On April 24, the Johnson County District Attorney Steve Howe released a statement, saying that his office believed a crime had been committed but the evidence did not allow them to conclude the perpetrator, and that the Kansas Department of Children and Families continued to investigate. The following day, an audio recording of Hill and Espinal discussing the injury to their son and the subsequent investigation was released. In the recording that surfaced, Hill and his fiancée discuss their son's broken arm, she said that their son is scared of him, to which Hill responds “You should be afraid of me too....”

Also, go watch the video of Bill Cower finding out he is being inducted into the HOF. It made me cry. Dh grew up in the panhandle of WV and was a Steelers fan from childhood. We all supported the Redskins when we moved here 16 years ago and go to one game a year (usually preseason, although I got club level seats for the Dec 22 Giants game for $50 a piece), but Dh became disgusted with both the perpetual ability to choke and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and Dan Snyder’s stance on changing the team name, and so he went back to cheering for the Steelers. We also started going regularly to Pittsburgh about 5 years ago and have been to a number of Pirates games. We want to go to a Steelers home game - but they are too pricey for a family of 4 for us right now. I may take ds1 to a game next year. We love Pittsburgh and would move there in a heartbeat if Dh had a job there. We also haven’t seen them here, because the ticket prices - Pittsburgh fans drive down from Pittsburgh, in addition to the local fans. It looks like the Redskins are going up to Heinz Field for the 2020 season - maybe we will continue to be bad enough that the prices won’t be too bad. LOL!

elaine, yes! Crazy prices. Cowboys tickets are expensive enough, I shudder to think what we are going to have to pay for them when the Steelers come to town. We are hoping a family member with season tickets has the ability to buy more before they go on sale to the general public so we don’t have to pay resale prices. We’d kill for kids, but being childless does have its advantages. A family of 4 at an NFL game? Mortgage payment by the time you park, eat, drink and get souvenirs! We’ve never been to Pittsburgh, but one day I’d like for be able to take DH to a home game there and then stick around to see the area. We’d also try to fit in a Penguins game. I don’t blame your DH. And the only Redskins game I’ve been to was @ the old (less hideous) Cowboys’ Stadium (Texas Stadium). Redskins lost, boo. But we got to see Nelson Mandela when we went to the players exit so that was an experience. Does it even work that way with tickets anymore? The Spurs haven’t done great the past year and a half, and our ticket prices haven’t gone down. They do fluctuate based on the visiting team though. Maybe you have to reach a certain level of suck before that happens. Redskins would definitely qualify this year So, maybe you could go if they host another terrible team LOL.

Oh, I bought the tickets resale on SeatGeek. Since they were Club Level, they belonged to season ticket holders. When they are this bad, even season ticket holders don’t want to go through the hassle of parking, watching a lousy game (although the Giants game ended up being great - high scoring and went into overtime, but we still lost), and the food prices are insane and the food at FedEx Field - even club level - is really really bad. Seeing Nelson Mandela would have been worth going to a Cowboy game! What a memory for your lifetime. I hope that you can get to Pittsburgh some day - it is a really pretty town, and the stadiums are all within walking distance of downtown.
