For all those that missed the cybercropping thread that jennylilac brought up. We've had some interest in just cropping via video chat. I know there was some interest years ago as well, but nothing ever came of it. So here we are. I ended up having a tomorrow morning free so I'll host a google hangout.
The times will be 9 am CST - 1 pm CST. It's 10am -2pm EST and 8am-12pm MST. 7am - 11am PST. and London time is 3 pm - 7 pm. Not sure on Australia.
I will post the google hangout link right here.

If you can't log on and you are thinking you are doing everything right, it means we have 25 people. and woo hoo that that many joined in. Try again later as I'm sure people will come and go.
jennylilac is also hosting one on Tuesday the 21st at 7-11 EST.
Hopefully we can make this a thing. You have some time, you host a couple of hours with the peas. Please don't worry about messy craft rooms. Messiness is a sign of creative genius.  Not to mention we're just going to make it messier. I used to not clean my desk until I was working on about 6 inches worth of stuff underneath. The joys of digital!
The next post will be what information I have about Google Hangouts.

If you are on a desktop and have a google account, just be signed in. If you are on a tablet or smart phone, download the Google Hangout App.  This is what it looks like on my phone. Once I post the link in the OP, you simply click on the link. Whether you are on a desktop/laptop, with a google account that you are already signed into, or using the app, it should bring you right to the hangout. It will look different on the desktop/laptop over the phone/tablet. You can also download an app for your desktop/laptop for ease if you want. I just did it in the browser. I did find it worked better for me in Google Chrome though. (sorry I was going to take pics of DS doing this on his laptop but he was way to fast with his clicking.) This is what it looked like when I clicked the link on my phone with the app already downloaded.  You’ll click join. Then It will ask to access your camera and microphone, if not already accessible, Allow.  That seems to be all there is to it. Last night I couldn’t hear DS during a test, turns out I had my volume turned to low. I also couldn’t get my webcam to work (my computer is so old that my camera is a purchased dealy that I plug in. Once I exited out of the camera screen that popped up on my computer when I plugged it in, then google hangouts worked just fine. If you come up with issues and you fixed them, you should add them in here so we can learn from each other. |

Ok, I am setting my alarm, but will probably be up anyway. Plan on joining in from sunny SoCal! (I feel so bad for my DH and kids who are currently dealing with the MN winter blast!)

On a webcam...ugh! lol, yep I've already set the alarm so I can shower before hand. @kendramage, As of an hour ago, we had 3" already in southern Michigan. They were only calling for 3-5 in my neck of the woods. I'm hoping that means it's going to be stopping soon, but it sure didn't look like it. ComplicatedLady, hope to see you tomorrow. |

I’m going to be a few minutes late. I’m currently downstairs waiting on my stupid beagle to come in. It appears he likes this snowy icy mess. Shouldn’t be more than 5 minutes late though. Fingers crossed 🤞

That was FUN!!! What a treat to actually see and chat with you crafty ladies! Not sure if I can make Tuesday evening (it falls right in our supper hour here), but it is definitely something I would love to do again. Thanks, LisaDV for hosting and everyone else for joining in. hope you can resolve the technical difficulties next time, Neisey. Keep an eye out for pop up crops! Not sure if I can make Tuesday evening The more I think about it the more I can't make it on Tuesday. But I'm totally up for doing this again as well. It's great to see everyone and I love seeing what everyone is creating. Although I may have to switch to a laptop so I can have easy within reach access to muting myself or clicking on someone's photo at the bottom to see what they're sharing. |

By the time it got charged up my mom was feeling really tired. But I'd love to do that when i get home. Great to meet you all! |
