Sorry I'm late today! I didn't quite have this page finished this morning I started with a card sketch this week. I couldn't find a scrapbook sketch that didn't feel very familiar, OR that didn't use itty-bitty teeny-weeny photos! I'm not a big fan of the squint-to-see-the-photo layouts. Well, they are beautiful, I admit. But my scrapbooking is photo based, so I prefer bigger 4x6 or 5x7 picture sizes! I also liked that this sketch would let me use scraps for the border, and lots and lots of patterned papers or washi! Starting sketch: SCT_WI16_BonusCard6 by kirstendrew, on Flickr This is what I came up with: my sketch by kirstendrew, on Flickr And here is my page! Oops - just realized I have to add a date and some journaling...will do that after the nuvo drops dry! Fluffy Scruffy Lemur and Scout by kirstendrew, on Flickr Hope you will try this out, and share here!

kitbop, I love your page and how you converted it from a card sketch. That's very clever.

Awesome sketch, kitbop! And your page is perfect! Love the punny title, and all the glitter and Christmas colours. I also love the pp at the left that looks like strips of Christmas wrap. Here is mine, created at the Cybercrop this morning: you & Me celebrate by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Thanks for the inspiration!

Since I posted this I have been looking at my take on the sketch all day and didn't like the placement of the "ME". Finally, I took apart the bottom part, and repositioned that banner and the word. Also added some puffy stars. Now I like it much better. Will take a pic of it tomorrow on tapatalk and repost it here.

I love all these LOs, what a fabulous sketch! This is my take. I used the Oscar & Olive kit by Becca Bonneville.

kitbop, I meant to ask you..... what is the significance of Fluffy, Scruffy and Lemur? Are they nicknames that you have for your kids? And I assume Scout is the dog? I left love in the gallery for your page, it's stunning!

AussieMeg, yes, Scout's the dog! I jokingly tease the boys with "fluffy and scruffy" (as in, "hey Mr. fluffy and scruffy") because of their whiskers and hair. I like it better when they are trimmed up And Katie's new onesie was a lemur (you can see the tail on the floor, but it's not obvious!), so I figured it would fit in the title!
