Dearly beloved, We are gathered here today to prepare for the 1-year anniversary of the first ever 2PR MEGAAA crop which took place last year in March. In anticipation of this joyous celebration, grammadee and I would love to host another one! If you played last year, you must remember all the fun and madness that took place over the course of those 3 amazing days. If you didn't participate last year, you're in for loads of creativity, encouragement, inspiration and shared enjoyment. Like last year, let's keep things in line with democracy and let all of you vote on which weekend to host it. Please click on the March weekend in the poll that suits you best. The poll will remain open until the 1st of February. In February, it'll be time to brainstorm mini challenges, find some hosts to keep the thread going through all three days in all time zones and get prepared for the crop madness! The crop is meant to inspire you to work on some projects and have fun together. There are no rules to follow or number of projects to finish. You can do as much or as little as you want. You can work on cards, tags, layouts, Project Life, December albums or any type of crafting. You can chat with each other as much as your heart desires, share your creations, comment on each other's projects, etc. This is all about having a good, crafty time together. No stress, no pressure. Feel free to use the thread to discuss what you'd like to see for the 2020 Crop! Open to any and all suggestions. So, who's in for another weekend of paper chaos, banter and togetherness? Me:

Thanks so much for starting this up again, sleepingbooty! I need to check out when Spring Break is, b/c dd plans to be writing her comprehensive exams that week so she is "kicking out everyone else"--including the cat and the dog--so her dh, ds, dsil, and mil will all be heading out this way for ten days: two weekends. I will vote when I get the scoop from her, but really I can pop in and out even if we have a house full. Thanks again!

Thanks for doing this. Should be fun.

Looking forward to this! But I'm completely out for March 6-8, and March 20-22, so I'm crossing my fingers one of the other 2 weekends gets the vote! I voted for March 13-15, but will change my vote to March 27-29 if things swing that way.

I would love to host a challenge and give a prize away if you will have me. 😀

Thanks for hosting it again. I'm interested!
I'll be able to weigh in after @ihavetoomuchstuff tells me which weekend our March Saturday crop will be held.
Any idea yet, my dear?
ETA: she answered on FB. Won't know for a little while yet, so no vote from me on which weekend

I picked Mar 6-8 because I am attending an actual crop that weekend and they would dovetail nicely. However, any weekend works for me.

I picked the 6-8 March because we have a public holiday on Mon 9th so I'd be able to play along for the whole weekend instead of just one day.

I am pretty open, I would love to participate and think it would be cool to do some google hangouts like we did this weekend, even if we had to have a few going at the same time to accommodate.

Thanks for hosting it again. I'm interested! I'll be able to weigh in after @ihavetoomuchstuff tells me which weekend our March Saturday crop will be held. Any idea yet, my dear? ETA: she answered on FB. Won't know for a little while yet, so no vote from me on which weekend I think you should just go ahead and vote msliz because I believe she isn't going to hold one in March as of right now. I'll keep you posted if it changes, but go ahead and vote for whichever weekend you would like to.

I'm excited and hopefully I'll be free the weekend that is selected to participate! But, right now, I have no idea what my March schedule is going to look like so I'm not going to vote. I might not be free any weekend because we might be moving mid-month! But we'll see

I prefer the third weekend but I’m ok with any of them. By that point I would be able to edit and order vacation pictures from the end of February. But I can scrap any pictures if the crop ends up being scheduled for the first or second weekend.
Thanks, sleepingbooty and grammadee!

I don't know if I will be able to but sounds like fun...
Are we virtual on this or just checking into here for stuff? I can't imagine trying to scrap and having to check in here all the time?? How does it work? LOL...

This is just like last year's crop: a big thread, people preparing their SB kits for the weekend in advance, getting ready for some challenges and then checking back in whenever you want to. It was a lot of fun! You don't have to check every few minutes but if you let a full 24h go by, you may need to catch up on a few pages of discussion. I think we'll also host a few Google Hangout sessions during the weekend for those wanting to go live via video.

I will be home and not working during this time as we will have a new baby. I think it will be a great time to join in the cropping goodness.

sleepingbooty, have you pinned down the date? Just found out that I will have a house full from the 20th to the end of the month. So fingers crossed. Last year the crop was set for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, with Team members getting double points for anything that they created during these days, shared and reported end of day Tuesday, I think.

The Peas have spoken, grammadee. It looks like they're eager for another crop because they elected the earliest weekend on the list, March 6-8! Shall we get prepping? It's only a few weeks away now, eep!
