Okay so already I really like the Soprano gal, but the Jia channel, oy vey. She likes to spend money on crap, what's with that Aldi planner obsession when she already owns like 3?
LOl, this is fun, and you guys gave me some really cool leads. I'll definitely be checking all of them out, I'm intrigued!

I feel like my YouTube world has been shocking me left and right lately! Jen and her divorce...totally didn’t see that coming. I always felt Don was a creep though..she’s out of touch with reality but I think she’s in general a nice person. I like that her channel never really turned into advertisement after advertisement like most do. The pic of Don from his Tinder profile laying in bed was pure gold lol. Wait..what? OHMYGG he posted a PICTURE of himself on the bed? OH EWWWWWWWWWWW. oh my gawd how horribly humilating for her! Oh he's just gross! I didn't see that on the bakery..just that he posted a profile. NASTNESS.

In his defense though on his Tinder profile he did say he was separated so I don’t think he was cheating at least at that specific time...they had to be separated for a few months though at least since the Tinder profile was from Nov I believe.

I follow a few crafting channels and some un-boxing channels (that started when I was interested in changing up my wardrobe and started stitch fix) my favorite for just a down to earth gal is Georgia Sunshine. She does unboxings, but also organize my closet or vanity type videos and a few dinner videos. I like those because they are "real life". She's not afraid to put the mess that is her vanity/closet out there. She just seems genuine to me. I've been following her since she only had 1k followers and she's getting ready to hit 8k and is so grateful. To her that is a big number from just a year and a half ago or so. I'm happy for her. The most recent channel I stumbled upon that is just totally random, is this couple that dumpster dives, buys pallets of returns and abandoned storage lockers. I think I started watching because they are in my hometown and I know where they are at in a lot of the videos. The wife is cute as a button and the husband thinks he's funny and he's really just an idiot. LOL She indulges his sense of humor and I guess I find that endearing because if he was my dh I'd tell him to shut the heck up. They aren't hoarders. They resell on line and at swap meets and fleemarkets, donate etc.. They have some great finds because they dive into business dumpsters. Michaels, Joannes, Office Depot etc.. I have zero idea why I get sucked into watching it. My dh thinks I'm nuts, but he'll sit over my shoulder and get sucked in also. LOL He was really paying attention when she was going on line and calling companies to check balances of thrown away gift cards. I think she had a stack of like 300 that she had picked up off the ground while walking into places or found in dumpsters. People throw money away like it's nothing! One Shell gas card had 25.00 on it! Olive garden card with 17.00 on it. An Ulta card with over 50.00 on it. Plus all the 1.00- 5.00 left on cards that people just toss. That all adds up to decent money! LOL Anyway, I got sucked in and watch them. Stevensteph if you want to go down a new type of rabbit hole. Plus I just started watching this cute Pea's channel Glo Mama Glo! Excited to see her channel grow! She's grown from 17-34 followers in the past week or so!

I have a hard time finding yt channels to watch for any length of time because while I like the cleaning/organizing, daily vlogs, all of the young moms/wives talk exactly the same. Same words, same inflection and it drives me crazy! I’m guessing the older women aren’t into vlogging. I enjoyed Shelly, too, mainly because she was older and seemed more down to earth. I’m an empty nester, stay at home wife, so I would love to find someone relatable.
Love Disney cruise vlogs. The first channel I ever got interested in was because of her Disney vlogs - Blair Lamb - She’s young, but is different from the average young mom/wife and I enjoy her videos. Also Legg Life is an enjoyable Disney related one.
Stamping/paper craft videos - Jennifer McGuire, Nichol Spohr, Taffleberry Lane
Dollar Tree/low cost DIY - Do it on a dime, Measure & Mix, Jordan Page, Krafts by Katelyn

I mostly watch small amateur channels without that many subscribers. Just random people vlogging about random stuff. Occasionally a popular one when it looks interesting.
But I hate manufactured drama, clickbait titles, influencer culture, controversy, and "reaction channels". So I stay as far away from that side of YouTube as I can.

I also started with How Jen Does It! Also read about it on a decluttering thread 3 yrs ago! I was hooked, and even my 13 yr. old watched her and started to love to clean. We also found Shelly's Home Life, and my teens all watched her. She was my favorite ever, and I miss her videos so much!
I now like Clean My Space, Brianna K, Team Darley, Brianna Vasseur, Amanda's Daily Dish, Clutterbug, Jamie's Journey, The Six Silvas! You tube is my new TV! I put it on my computer as I clean.

I forgot to add above, Do It On A Dime is great! I used to watch Style Mom XO, but haven't been as interested lately. Keep Calm and Clean I also used to enjoy. Fancy That With Candice, she is so sweet!
This is fun learning about new you tube channels!

They seem to have all white furniture which is my dream furniture set up. And all our furniture is the dark wood, which ages us! Haha! So I live vicariously through them. But I agree about the way they talk. They seem to want to talk like teens, and most say "ekspecially" which makes me cringe. I still love and watch them though.

I watch a number of the ‘usual suspects’ crafting channels. But I also love Kaypacha’s weekly Pele report (New Paradigm Astrology). It’s a bit of a guilty pleasure, but his words are sometimes very inspirational and full of hope.
I used to like Kimberly Clark’s “anti-haul” anti-consumerist beauty industry videos, especially when I was a makeup hoarder. But she’s stopped making them.

oh yvonne I found that reaction video I was telling you about! Music producer reacts to Into the Unknown, Brendan Urie’s version. Typical reaction videos are mostly about the lyrics, and they might jam to the music. but he’s all about the instrumentals and vocal quality. It’s just neat to see how that kind of mind thinks. youtu.be/yeUGSXeVhTw

I like Jennifer Ross and Pretty Neat Living. Really sad for her and the kids that she is getting a divorce. She seems like a nice person and her planner reviews were THE BEST. Seems like she might be getting back to doing more of those now that her life has taken a turn.
I didn't see you guys mention my favorite guilty pleasure train wreck: Kisha Jaggers. Her videos now are depressing and sad but back about 6-7 years ago they were comedy gold. Her life is a humongous train wreck but I have to give her credit for finding a decent job and sticking with it so far. Back in 2013-2014 she thought she was Jennifer Ross Junior and used to post about her days of sleeping until noon (not that Jen Ross would do that) and lazing around all day other than her jaunts out for groceries and drugstore makeup. I came across her channel as a suggestion from Youtube, I think her pantry organization video, and I was like "This woman is frontin'." She talked about her multiple college degrees that are clearly nonexistent, going to culinary school, etc. If you decide to check her out, go back to around 2013 and watch some of those videos--including the pantry one. She also stole someone else's blog format and title and called herself a "Glamorous French Housewife" for a while. Things got very real and then very sad a few years ago and her life resembles nothing of what it did back around the 2012-2014 era.

You can’t talk about Kisha without mentioning her ex husbands ashes she stole and then poured out in her shower! "It was his favorite place." It's just the biggest shit show I have ever seen. When I thought it couldn't get any worse...it was like the first shit show was just mocking us. And all the lying and complete BS. Then she went after that How Jen Does It lady. I used to watch her videos. Her way of life was way too sterile and regimented for me to relate to, but she definitely seems to be a nice enough lady with a lovely family. I sort of stopped watching her after she moved to her new house and fixed most of it up. Then it was a snooze fest for me, plus I found it hard to relate to the rigidity--but again, seems like a lovely person. Anyway, she went after blue/gray/aqua big-window-house Jen by creating fake accounts and stuff. Just completely out of jealousy. Kisha's an audaciously awful human being but sometimes I see a spark in there that I feel needs another chance. I dunno.

You can’t talk about Kisha without mentioning her ex husbands ashes she stole and then poured out in her shower! Holy hell! What year was this? He died in early 2017. Kisha was how I found out about the bakery--somebody was posting about in the comments. She gets on her thread on the bakery and regularly discusses her life with people. Her ex-"husband's" (they were never legally married, as it turns out, because he never divorced the wife he had before her, but whatever) sister got on the bakery shortly before Kisha's ex dumped her and defended Kisha. Then after he dumped her, the sister got on and laid it all out. Then the husband unexpectedly died (basically in the shower due to a heroin overdose) and so Kisha went out of her way to be particularly cruel and horrible and took custody of his ashes. Then she came on and said she poured them down the drain of her shower just to hurt the sister. It was horrible. I mean--could not look away, but horrible. Then later she said she was kidding.

For those who don't think Jen Ross is a little bit... off... I have to ask, were you around in her pre-kids days, or are you more recent watchers?
She and Don used to have a very... interesting... Daddy/daughter relationship going on. It was featured on Tosh.O. There's speculation about the divorce resulting from something (i.e. kids) bringing the role playing to an end.
Did you see the video where she shared all about her cervical mucus? Or disclosed that her husband bathes in her dirty bathwater?
I could go on for ages. She's nuts. Start watching around the 17 minute mark.

I love me some YouTube. I actually have stopped watching regular TV because all I watch is YouTube. I follow crafting, tiny living, and true crime channels but I watch a ton of other stuff. For a while I liked to watch family vloggers, but then got extremely uncomfortable with how much they share about their kids. So I’ve completely stopped watching any family channels where the kids are mostly the ones onscreen.
Jen Ross is one of my favorites. Yep, she’s a little strange and quirky but I like that about her. I actually found her because of an old craft room tour and then I fell down the Jen Ross rabbit hole. I’m really happy to see her crafting more and she’s actually made some good December Daily albums. Up until her I only watched crafty videos. I also find entertainment reading The Bakery from time to time. But I read there because I actually think a lot of people are way more crazy on that forum than Jen is. The over analyzing and theories and conspiracies that they come up with are so over the top and makes for hilarious reading. I don’t think the Tinder profile is real. I think someone from The Bakery made a fake profile. It would have been way more believable if the bio didn’t go off the rails.
I was so shocked about Jeffrey and Nate breaking up too. I loved them together and thought they’d make it.

LOL that must be so interesting to see a barn get decluttered! For some reason I can't access the links. What are the names of the YT channels so I can check them out? The first one is Erica Lucas and the farm one is Cole the Cornstar I LOVE Cole the Cornstar.. I think I suggested him here once. I don't get into the farming stuff as much, but when he does the decluttering and home repairs, I watch those. He is a HARD WORKING young guy!!
