Has anyone seen a video of this? I saw it mentioned briefly but no full demo. I'm wondering on the price. I have a fairly new bigshot, but I am constantly having to re tighten the handle on it. They sent me a new screw but it still comes loose. Thx!

I’m always tightening my handle screw too.

Maybe a lock washer. You could haul it down to the local hardware store, ask if someone there has a solution. I have a Big Shot Plus. It has a little rubber cover over the screw head that keeps falling out, but the allen screw stays in OK.

Found another video with an actual short demo in it (at about 2:03). Says the machine comes with all cutting platforms plus 24 thinlet dies and a 3D embossing folder. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VhKJp35XyQE

I just watched the video. Now I’m wondering how the Switch is much different than the Teresa Collins Cut n Boss.
I *think* they said it was light weight? Maybe? The Cut n Boss is pretty heavy. I have one collecting dust in an extra bedroom because over all I was not impressed with it.

I like the simplicity of the machine's looks, but it didn't seem any faster than say a vagabond. I get too impatient waiting.

I thought I heard it weighed about 12 lbs. That similar to the weight of the Big Shot Express. My issue with the Switch is that there is nothing to hold the platform as it comes out of the machine. My Big Shot Express is dieing after 10 years so I think I'll just go with the Vagabond.

I'm just happy with my Big Shot and don't really need an electronic die cutter. The Big Shot also fits well onto my craft table - I'd have to reorganise everything if I bought a bigger machine.

My biggest issue with the Gemini is the lack of anything to hold the platform as it goes into and come out of the machine. That's a must have for these arthritic hands. At least the Switch has a front loading area. I'll stick with my Vagabond until it dies. Hopefully, by then, there will be an improvement. And by someone other than Sizzix.
