So strange to see these old ones pop up in the area with "interesting" features... link

I think it has a strong funeral home vibe.

It's obviously very dated and the copy is horribly written, but I think I am missing something?

Shame it was not photographed with furnishings. It looks so bare it is hard to envision using the space and living there.

My first reaction is who would build a house with a flat roof in a place that gets snow?
I liked some of it, some of it not so much. I could force myself to live there, though, if it was necessary.

I can generally see some potential in most homes. This one? I see nothing to work with. The outside is hideous and there’s no redeeming feature inside.

One floor is good! Rooms seem long , not square at all.. That could be the photos though...

Those are huge rooms. Imagine trying to furnish them. That front foyer is hard for me to even imagine furnished.

Wow. My ds paid 425k for a 1500 sf house in Colorado, but the price on this is ridiculous. Yes, a gut job.

I liked some of it, some of it not so much. I could force myself to live there, though, if it was necessary. Flat roofs were VERY popular in the 1970s.. (my husband loves that look.. me? not so much) I'm having a hard time with this one. I know the area, older homes, old rich money type area. In fact, it would not surprise me if I knew the owner. A guy that I briefly worked for two and half years ago, I found out recently he is either passed on or getting ready too. This would be something he would have lived in. I can just feel it. It's highly unlikely but I wouldn't be shocked if it was his home.

Yuck! The outside looks like a bank building and the inside is horrible.

That’s an easy nope from me but why on earth haven’t they staged it?

It just surprises me that they would be popular in a place that gets a lot of snow. Having to shovel the roof would be awful. It would seem that just having all that snow sitting on a flat roof is just asking for trouble. Now in the south or in areas that don’t get a ton of snow - that I can understand.

Wow. That's a lot of money for a complete gut job. The rooms are long and narrow and there are pink cabinets in the bathroom! It would be pretty with an open floor plan and a pitched roof.

I'm having a hard time seeing the flow of this one and hate that the photos showing all rooms as long and narrow. And I can't get past a sunken tub surrounded by carpet.

I liked some of it, some of it not so much. I could force myself to live there, though, if it was necessary. I’m in Norway, and most houses these days are built with flat roofs. It’s stupid, whether you Get snow or rain.

Way overpriced for something so utterly dated and just yucky. I thought the "funeral home vibe" was on-point. I see nothing nice here, and as someone mentioned, no flow. And the long rooms? Just no.

There are houses like that here in MN which is totally insane. DH grew up in a house with a flat roof and it did cause a lot of problems when the gutters would get clogged with ice or leaves because the water would have nowhere to go.
