I like the architecture. I don’t like any of the design choices, from colors, to finishes, to textures. It doesn’t flow together well. I’d expect something more cohesive in a home like that.
And 10 bathrooms?? Why? Even if you had one per bedroom, a powder room, one at the pool, and even one in the theater room, that’s only 7. Why do they need 10?

i really like it... it has all the bells and whistles but i could actually see my family living in it. don't love all the furniture or design choices but when i buy a home in colorado at that price point, i will leave a little aside for a designer.
and 10 bathrooms?? missed that. i would have at least 6 of them closed off. mama ain't cleaning 10 bathrooms....

People with 12,000 sf homes tend to entertain large groups more than the average family. And in a house that size, the bathrooms could be pretty spread out.

There is probably a bathroom in the common areas ( kitchen/living room space) and maybe one with the basketball court.

I see that it is a foreclosure. Wonder what happened there?

There’s a lot I like about this house, although the woodwork is darker than I would prefer.

My DH would not be a fan of all those curved rooms and walls.

I couldn’t handle a house of this size. Of course, I’m single so what would be the point?. My first thought was that I’m not cleaning all those bathrooms, but if you can afford a house of that size, you have staff to handle the everyday things. Probably a live in chef too.
I can live with 2 bathrooms. One in the master bedroom and one in the general part of my hopes. My very small house.

I am still wondering what the room was with the two bean bag sort of chairs and the countertop with cushions and a plethora of pillows.

I am still wondering what the room was with the two bean bag sort of chairs and the countertop with cushions and a plethora of pillows. It’s probably a rest stop for when you’re making your way around the building. I know I would need one in a 12,000sq ft house. I don’t like the house at all. Too brown, too dark, and just too large.

Too brown, too dark, and just too large. Certainly too brown (and too big for us empty nesters) and as many posters have said the decor isn't cohesive and is bland but I could make it look a lot nicer for sure

Great house but it needs brightening up and some colour added.

I think it's gorgeous. Don't like the decor, but I'd use all the money I'd save buying it at auction to hire a decorator. And ten bathrooms would be awesome! I'd also use my savings for full time help.
Really, the architecture is just stunning.

I’m pretty sure if I could afford that house I could afford the cleaning service! I would imagine a couple of the bathrooms would be in the spare bedrooms so not in use all the time, though things still need to be dusted once in a while.

I LOVE it.. Slide 17 has me wondering if it is the picture itself, but looks like something is off there in the bathroom.. But yeah, I like the decorating but would add something to it. The wood is a bit dark, but I could live with it.. or change it. Who cares if there are 10 bathrooms.. I would have a maid.. DUH I really love the theater room.. Seriously there isn't much I don't like about it.. and at that price range I can change anything. And since I am wealthy, I might just book a tour.. it's just right down the street from my 1,500 sq. ft. duplex. AND since it is so big, I would get my exercise it for sure!!

I didn't go back to see if slide 17 is what I am thinking of, but if it is, I totally get it. I paused and looked at that really well too. Looks like the cabinet under the window is right against the drawers to the sink?

10 bathrooms? By the time you decide which one to use, you’d wet your pants. 🤣

I see that it is a foreclosure. Wonder what happened there? I did some googling. Looks like the owner was indicted for securities fraud and spent investors money on his personal luxury items etc.

I wish realtors would stop with all the fancy camera stuff. Just take a good clean photo.
