Hello Peas! Welcome to day 6 of 29-4-29! I’m doing scrap lift challenges of you! As an added bit of fun, I’ll be scrapping my layout live on YouTube at 8pm eastern time. www.youtube.com/c/OneMommyScrapping Come join me and scrap along! Our first scraplift is of kitbop and a layout she posted October 7, 2019. Take inspiration from her layout below. It could be the colors, the banners, or a direct lift of it all. Your added twist is to include a torn edge on your layout. So, one point for the scrap lift and one point for the twist. If you do both on the same layout, five bonus points! I can’t wait to see you at 8 tonight and see your creations!  |

I wasn't signed in, but I was able to watch you on and off while I was fighting with DD's phone trying to get her pics to download (no luck yet.) Great page! I enjoyed your channel, and I'll check back in to see you again  I think I know which photos I want to use for this one. I still have to print one though. |

Here is my take on this challenge. This is the first I have put together for my 6x8" Snap Album, which will have the theme I am... I loved the photo from several years ago that justjac posted on my birthday, and wanted to use it in this book.  Birthdays do THIS! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Loved using kitbop's page as a jumping off point for this page. Torn edges are kinda my thing. And since the album pages are white and teal with some gold highlights, I could fit in the navy background quite easily. Had fun making the scraplift work on a much smaller canvas than I am used to. Fortunately it meant that my drivers' license photo (which was a shock when it arrived last week!) could be pretty small;). Thanks, lilacgal! |

grammadee I love your page. I just got a new drivers license, too, and the photo is so bad. When they said not to smile, I seem to have interpreted that as frown. It is like a horrible mugshot of someone who looks a bit like me.

Thanks for a fun challenge lilacgal , and for a fabulous inspiration page kitbop ! I was really drawn to the colours, so I searched through my kits and found one that was very similar to the papers Kirsten used - I hadn't actually used this kit before, so that was an added bonus. I was going to just use the colours with my own design, but I ended up copying the whole design as well!  |

grammadee, I love your page. I like how you changed it to a 6x8 layout size. AussieMeg, your digital lift is beautiful. I’ve tried doing digital layouts and they stress me out. I’m always impressed by people who can use the computer and create such beauty.

msliz, your layout really spells out 4th of July!! I love the papers, the banners, that gorgeous cut work star and your photos. Just perfect for our country's birthday.

lilacgal, I thought I had already commented on your page. I love the dark elements with the bright star paper behind. The candle also really shines against the darker photos. Linda, cute cluster in the corner. I love the look of the torn paper. I just have a hard time remembering to do that until I have finished the layout. You are really scrapping up a storm. I'm glad you are taking time away from the organizing to get some scrappy therapy.
