Welcome to 29-4-29 Day Eight - Sketchy Saturday. I have three similar sketches again for you today. Each sketch has a 'column' running up the middle of the page with photos, journal cards, blocks and embellishments. The Twist: Use three buttons and/or flairs on your project. Scoring: You get one point for doing the challenge, and one point for meeting the twist on any project. Take FIVE points every project that meets both the challenge AND the twist. And here are my three sketches and samples, and a link to the PSD files in Dropbox for any Digi scrappers. These LOs were scraplifted from LOs I found on line, then turned into a sketch. The PSD files also contain the original layout that I scraplifted, as a hidden layer. This layout by LisaDV is an other example that I had planned to scraplift for this challenge, but I ran out of time! Wow! Way above and beyond! Developing the sketches for 3 different takes on a design, plus your own take on each sketch? Just WOW! I won’t get back into my scraproom TIL Monday or Tuesday, but I hope to get to these sketches SOON...

Loving everyone's takes! jeremysgirl, STARTING with the sketch is the key! You made it your own and you created a colourful, FUN page! Great choices for washi/pp strips, and I like that some are at an angle, emphasizing the activity of the day. There is love for AussieMeg, justjac, and Chinagirl828 on Flickr. |

jeremysgirl, I love your individual approach to the sketch. Most of my pages following a sketch are not much like the sketch in the end. Yours is so pretty with the bright summer colors splashed across the bottom and the bright antique buttons. Great page! I caught all the others in the gallery. I love all the sketches and hope to do the other ones, but I chose #1.  Funny Face

I love seeing such wonderful layouts!  jeremysgirl your page is so pretty, I absolutely love the gorgeous bright colours. And that greeney colour matches the water in the photos perfectly. There's love in the gallery for the other amazing pages. |

I've got one too. I guess it's closest to the first example. The photo sizes are different, but I tried to get that strong vertical element on the background.  I love your Funny Face nylene. What a great photo! |
