I have an early morning dental appt so decided to post this tonight so I don't forget after the appt. My challenge is to make a card for any occasion using at least 4 of these techniques or elements listed below. If you are in the team challenges, take a point for each extra element you add up to 3 points. Twist: Tell us who the card is intended for when you post it in this thread for the extra point. Mine is for my granddaughter. Ribbon or twine more than 2 layers patterned paper use a punch Die Cut Pearls or enamel dots Stamping Pop dots Flowers Stitching faux or real watercolor or any coloring glitter dry embossing sequins or jewels Washi tape heat embossing Fancy fold Here is mine: Happy Birthday My card uses: more than 2 layers, dry embossing, pearls, flowers, patterned paper, die cuts and punches. So that would be 1+1 for twist+3 extra elements=5 points for Team Challenges. ETA: I didn't realize this would be the Day 11 Challenge. Because it is, making the card and telling who the recipient is gives you 5 points. That means my card is worth 5+3 for extra elements=8 points and yours can be too.

Such a pretty card, nylene ! I love this challenge and I've been meaning to use February to create some cards so I'm adding this one to my to-do list for the week. Sending you good vibes for your dentist appointment.

It is such a bright and cheerful birthday card, nylene, and I love the pearl centers of your flowers. It’s such a cute card. I appeciate the many options to choose from for the challenge, too.
I hope all goes well at the dentist tomorrow.

What a gorgeous card! I love the embossed design in the circle - that was a little unexpected. I might have to try something similar. I don’t use my embossing folders/embossed paper nearly enough.
Sorry I forgot to look for this on Tuesday. I’ll try to find some time to do the challenge this week. Now that Valentine’s Day is over from a retail POV (my “busy” season) I can start playing around with Mother’s Day designs and also maybe just play for the sake of playing. That would be nice.

nylene, I love the textured papers you chose for your card. For my layout, I used die cuts, layers, patterned paper, Nuvo "pearls," and a whole lot of fussy cutting even though it wasn't listed. Thanks for the challenge!

Your layout is gorgeous, msliz. I love purple and love seeing people do purple layouts. That background paper with the leaves is beautiful and is perfect for the light pastels of your fussy-cut flowers. (BTW, you forgot to say you used flowers!) I smile at this page because my DD has the brightest purple and blue hair. People always stop and talk to her about it. You have cute girls and I'll bet they get a lot of comments too.

I seem to be the last minute gal each time. I made this card for a friend who had her birthday back in January. The inside sentiment is a stamped belated birthday wish. I used dies and pop foam are by Queen and Company to make the shaker. One of the die cuts has fake stitching. I used sequins as part of the shaker filler. I dry embossed the Bazill bling card stock for the background. It has multiple layers and a stamped banner, which is also popped.

scrapnnana, your card is gorgeous. That Bazzill bling cardstock is so perfect on this card. You used so many elements on this card. I love the stitching on the cupcake and who doesn't love a shaker! Love the banner and the birthday embossing folder. I'm sure the inside is as beautifully done as the front cover. Wonderful, classy work.

I'm way behind on the challenges but I'm trying to catch up! Here's my card for this one. I used stamping, heat embossing, watercoloring, die cutting, faux stitching, more than 2 layers, and patterned paper. I think that's all. Stamps and all dies from MFT, patterned paper is echo park, I think.

gale w, I love your card. The background is so pretty and the stitched dies make this look so professional. Love your watercolor. Nice job on your heat embossing. So cool that you used extra techniques. Thanks for sharing.

here's mine -pretty simple but it took me ages, my mojo is struggling this morning - patterned paper, embossing, flower, stamping, layers - not for anyone in particular, it'll go in my card box and be used for a weekly note to one of several people
