I'm so very sorry. We just lost my grandma in November after a long long long battle with Alzheimers. Dementia of any type is horrid.

My condolences to you and your family - dementia is a nasty disease. It sounds strange but I feel blessed that my mom went into sudden cardiac arrest and was gone before we got to the worst dementia has to offer.

My heart goes out to all of you. There is definitely a difference in the way caregivers grieve; I saw it with my own brother after our mom died.
Sending you hugs and my deepest condolences.

I’m so sorry. It’s hard especially for caregivers, and yes dementia is cruel. Sending you and your family hugs.
My grandfather had Parkinson’s dementia and a host of other health problems. He actually died of a stroke and he went quickly about 5 years ago.
