Just an FYI. I just contacted the company inquiring if this punch has been discontinued. They replied that it was and they had no plan to produce it in the future. Today I get a notification from Scrapbook.com that it is in stock with a limited supply and discounted to boot! So if anyone you know has been searching for one that doesn’t go for $50+ (like on ebay), rush on over to Scrapbook.com now.

That is one punch I don't have. I would love to see a few layouts using it. For the life of me, I can't see how I would use it.

Many people use Rolodex and Memorydex cards for collage and gelli printing or as a mini scrapbook. It is fun to work in the tiny format and it can be easily changed around. The punch is great for making the slots in your own cards especially if you don’t have a Big Shot and die. I was getting tired of cutting them by hand so I was thrilled to get the notification.

Do you use the memorydex or rolodex for scrapbooking? I have one (and the punch and 2 of the dies for making the cards) and have never used it. I searched on YouTube for videos on it but only found a few (I think Paige Evans had at least one). I feel like I found out about it too late or that it was just never all that popular. I would love to see additional examples of how others have used this format.

I follow theFB group vintage gluebooks and pages hosted by Margarete Miller. Robyn McClendan does a series Gellidex, using her gel plate. I found a lot of videos when I searched for Memory Dex cards. I use Memorydex because they a just a bit larger.

There are a lot of videos. I'm going to watch some this evening. Thanks for the suggestion.

So I had this punch on my mind and decided to look at some videos of people using it. I found the punch and the Memorydex for sale on SB.com and got both. My son and his fiancee are buying a house and I thought I could print off some pictures of them and put them on the Memorydex and they could have it displayed somewhere in their house. At Christmas, I have a Tim Holtz display similar to this that has 20+ Christmas card pictures of my kids from over the years and every day in December, I showcase a new one. The fiancee loves it, so I thought she might like something similar. They've been together since 7th grade (10 years), so I have thousands of pictures to choose from. Thinking I might print a hundred or so and see how it looks. Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought I had signed up to be notified, but I must have missed the email. I don't have the time to scrap or make cards since I'm working 20-25 hrs a week. I thought the little Memorydex cards would be a fun, creative thing I can do and actually complete since they are so small. I ran and placed my order before posting since I was so excited to see the punch was available again and didn't want to miss it.

Well as a result of this thread I have invested in the Memorydex, cards, die cuts, and punch. I haven't scrapped pictures in 8+ years. I'm enjoying this for pictures and trying out techniques! SUCH FUN!
