I had an account show up with Aerial, in Indian language, which I can't read... called Netflix and they removed account. Very helpful. They had to convert the account to English to remove. No charges were incurred. Great customer service. Cheers.

Yes I had that happen several times. Did the same thing and it was taken care of. It's been a while since I've checked. Thanks for the reminder

My tablet makes me choose between users everytime it's been a little bit since I've watched. I guess I should be thankful so I can see that there are only our family users.

Last summer our entire Netflix account was hijacked by some family in the Middle East. They changed the account users and the language. My daughter was the Netflix account holder and it was registered to an email that she rarely used so we missed any notifications. We called Netflix and they got the account back to our names and changed the email to one that we use daily.

My son hooked up a friend of his on his xbox with our password.. that friend changed user names and profiles...
After that instance every month on the 1st its a thing i do as a monthly recurring... so i go on to the main Netflix and sign out ALL DEVICES... so then everyone has to re sign in.... but it clears all the devices that i dont know about.. lol... then about every 4 or 5 months ill change the password and each kid has to ask me for the new one...
Im a cheater but i do pay for the big multi user package...

Yes a few months ago. Netflix emailed me. I called them (I wasn't sure if the email was really legit or not) but it was and they had totally shut down our account. It was someone in Vietnam. I had to call and actually change my email address and password. It was a pain in the keester.. You don't realize all the different places you have your streaming on.. My house is 3 TVs, 3 computers, two phones, plus my husband's phone and he is on the road.

A few years ago we kept getting this and it was so frustrating! Netflix didn't seem like they could keep them out no matter what they did on their end after we called each time. We finally put a super duper crazy long password on our Netflix account and it stopped. We gripe when we get logged out and have to re-enter the password, but so far it's worked.

I had two log ins on my Netflix last week. After reading posts here, I went right in and changed my password. As it turns out, it was my stepdaughters. But they didn't have permission either.
I keep getting a bunch of junk Amazon emails lately. So beware. If it says from Amazon, take a look at the address.

I've had my account hacked. The language was changed to Spanish. I called Netflix, got it back to English, deleted the four users, and the next day they were back again. After the third attempt, Netflix put in additional protection steps to block them. That was a month ago and so far so good.
The Netflix customer service is great, IMO!

So far only ex boyfriends of my dd’s. I find joy in changing the password especially when they are the ones who dumped the girls.

I read online that someone noticed their ex was using his Netflix so he watched her activity and waited until she was watching the finale of the show and logged out all devices and changed the password!

A couple years ago I logged on at my parents to watch something when everyone else was out for the day—so my dad has been watching ‘unauthorized’ since then. It’s no biggie, but I get some pretty far off suggestions from Netflix on what I should watch next based on my viewing—lots of old westerns and things about WW2 😁

I had an unauthorized charge from Netflix to my credit card a few months back. I tried dealing with it through the credit card company but the next month the charge would appear again. I could tell it was from another country. Finally I called Netflix and they were great. I was very impressed with their customer service, especially with someone that isn't actually a customer of theirs.

Is there a way to actually see who’s using the account.

This is a very common occurrence. Netflix Customer Service is so good at it because they are doing it ALL THE TIME.
According to my Google search on why this would happen, accounts are hijacked and sold on the dark web for pennies. It's an easy way to keep a continual flow of cash. I don't get it, because it's often caught right away. But it must be working for them, because they are relentless.

Is there a way to actually see who’s using the account. When you open the Netflix app it will show the users...my login has my name and then Kids (for my twins). When I opened it up there was another account called Ariel, which was not mine. I wasn't able to see their info, only that they were a user on my account. I did get a message via email that there was a new user login from Florida (I'm in CO), so I was alerted but didn't take it seriously as there's been a bunch of account warnings (with Amazon lately). HTH

Keeping track of this is a nightmare for me. My niece (we raised since 3rd grade) works the graveyard shift at Caption Call, which translates voice to text phone calls for the deaf. She spends most of her shift going from one computer to another answering a call and watching Netflix, signing in every time. I end up with 10 "a new device has signed into your account" texts a night.

Back in dec/jan someone logged into our account and changed the password immediately. It was a pain to get it back, but it seems to be okay now.
