Curious, what hobbies to you enjoy/what crafy/hobby stuff do you have in your house? Reading the CDC thread and in the very UNlikely event I had to quarantine (due to Coronavirus or some other event in the future) I got wondering. I no longer scrapbook, and haven't in years. That said.... I am an avid beader with an eviable stash (I never met a bead I didn't like) that could keep me going for years I also embroider and could keep busy with that for a very long time too. I dabble in block printing. I have enough supplies on hand to participate in the holiday card exchange next year (bought supplies on sale in December). I have some small sewing projects. I used to be big into macro photography, but have let it fall by the wayside in the last few years. I still have all my gear and it's something I could easily do inside. Coloring books and a huge stash of colored pencils. Paint pens, Fimo. The list goes on. So, how about you? What is/are your favorite hobbies/crafts? What hobby/crafts do you lightly dabble in? What craft(s) would you like to pick up?

I do counted cross stitch, knit (not lately though, hand goes numb). I also sew, bags and I want to start making small felt animal figures. I also quilt. I have supplies to try felting with wool roving but haven't tried that yet. I do decorative painting, mostly Christmas ornaments, but also haven't been doing that lately. We recently moved and our travel time to work was cut by 2 hours, so I am finding that I now have time to get back to doing some of these things. I just need to find my mojo after not doing much crafting in 3 years. Oh and I have enough craft supplies to last me well past in the grave!

i guess i'll have to scrapbook. lord knows i have an entire room of supplies that will keep me occupied through years of quarantine.
i also like to bake but if i can't leave the house to give out my baked goods, DH and i will have to eat that hobby and wind up tons bigger when the quarantine is lifted.
i also garden and dabble in vintage rehabbing.
if all else fails, i guess my hobby can be couch potato. that i can be great at. so long as they don't cut off my directv, Netflix, Apple tv, Disney Plus, Amazon prime, and internet, i should be A-ok.

I've actually told my son who gets my crafting supplies after I pass....I don't want him to feel like he has to deal with it.

I'm a digital scrapbooker. I hoard digital supplies just like i used to hoard paper supplies. I would have plenty to keep me busy during a quarantine.

I enjoy photography and watching scrapping videos in hopes they will motivate me to scrapbook. If I was home bound due to quarantine I could get by for a looooooooooooooong time with the supplies I have on hand.

I like paper! Haven't scrapbooked in forever. Perhaps under an extended quarantine I might, but more likely I would get back to making cards, gift tags, paper containers and such.
I also sew, but it's been sporatic. Nieces and nephews are starting to have babies, so I sew for them. One of my nieces loved the show Big Comfy Couch, when her daughter was a baby she asked me to make her a costume like the doll Molly wore. I did that and made my niece a Lunette costume. I may as well have given her the world. She won all kinds of Halloween costume contests. And regularly wears it around "because it's comfy." She's 30.
I have dabbled in cross stitch in the past and enough kits and patterns as well as floss to serve me well. Perhaps I can get the Christmas stocking that I started for Ds finished. He's only 19, and I'm sure he will still want a stocking with kittens playing musical instruments, right?!

I have 2 sewing machines and a serger which could keep me occupied IF I ever get my sewing room organized. It is the last room to be unpacked following our move last fall, and I have procrastinated because there’s not enough closet storage for all my supplies. So the first part of a quarantine would force me to deal with the mess. I’m guessing there are more healthy ways to motivate me!!😄😁

I live full time in an RV so my options for crafts and hobbies are limited. I did a few diamond painting projects but most of them I would never hang in my house anyway so I stopped doing that. I would like to learn how to knit maybe. I guess I would be in a world of hurt and bored if I got quarantined.

I: write knit scrapbook read and garden (spring and summer only)
I cut back on my hobbies a year ago or so ago to just focus on those five... but I suppose if I were stuck in the house and didn't have limited time I could: learn to crochet cross stitch (I have the supplies) sew (I have a machine and a bin of fabric) get back into teaching myself to play piano (I got stuck on page 79 of my learn to play piano book) paint (rocks, DH's game minis he wants painted, my bathroom...) make cards (I don't know why I don't do this with my scrapbook scraps...) and there's always drawing...

I scrapbook and crochet. I just started a crochet project that would be a great distraction if I were quarantined. My scrapbooking stuff is always ready so I can sit down and create.

I have plenty of knitting, cross stitch, scrapbooking, card making supplies and projects to keep me happy through a long quarantine along with a mile high stack of books waiting to be read.
I do worry the rest of my family going stir-crazy if stuck at home for more than a couple days.

I keep intending to go back to digital scrapping but I’m scared of the time suck! I read, I can knit but don’t concentrate on it often enough. I do Pilates and belly dance and would do both at home if I was quarantined for any length of time. I like to cook and I love nail polish so I would probably spend a ridiculous amount of time painting and repainting my nails. I do sodoku and jigsaws sometimes too 🙂

I could scrapbook for a year with my supplies. Maybe I could learn to crochet something other than scarves and hot pads. I have tons of yarn. I have over 600 free books I've downloaded to my Nook library. Plus a ton of others I've paid for. I always have a jigsaw puzzle out on the coffee table to work on. I mess with those in the evening while watching tv. I like watching craft channels on youtube and have a ton of craft supplies so I could do that. I wouldn't have a problem at all.

Scrapbook.. and enough supplies to keep me busy for years.. Reading
Random things.. my last random project was fixing up my grandma's old formica table. The legs were all rusty.. so I sanded them down and put some silver spray paint on them. It's now my DD who is 11 table in my craftroom.
So I have all kinds of paper projects I could do as well as just scrapbooking..

I have lots of crafts I could do - scrapbooking, card marking, cricut and vinyl, coloring books with lots of colored pencils but also lots of stamps and markers that I need to improve my skills with. Tons of yarn and patterns to knit or crochet.
I have tons of books on my kindle, magazines to read tons of movies and series to watch on Netflix or Prime. We will be good as long as we have utilities and WiFi. No internet snd things would get ugly.
It’s getting warmer so sone simple gardening could keep me busy.
Like I said as long as utilities, internet are up we are good. Hoping there would be trash service to. Very little interaction as they don’t get out if their trucks. I think online libraries are pretty much automated so could still get new books assuming Amazon library is up.
We currently have a lot of comfort items as well. Pillows, soft socks and blankets. I’m currently under an electric throw. We have chocolate and alcohol. Lots of stuff to keep me busy. Son would need Internet and me too realistically. I need background noise. We gave lots of board games and s few puzzles as well. Haven’t used them in years.

I've been scrapbooking since 1998 and have a full scraproom of supplies but to be honest I haven't made a layout in the last few years, although I still love it and plan to get back to it one day. I'm sure it could keep me very busy if we had a quarantine and I was stuck in the house.
I also in the past two months have relearned how to knit. My German mother taught me how to knit in the continental style when I was a teen and I honestly haven't knit since then. She taught me the knit stitch and I think that's as far as we got back then. Using videos I relearned the knit stitch and then struggled with the purl stitch hating it for awhile, but then something clicked and now it's my favorite stitch. For my first project I'm making a scarf in a basket weave stitch. It's been frustrating because I'm such a perfectionist. I think I've ripped it out and started over at least 6-7 times. But I do love it so. I've gone overboard reading every book about knitting I can get my hands on-that's how I am. I've already got the next project lined up. I do hope by May this is over because that's when the Maryland Sheep and Wool festival is happening and I really want to go!
Photography and reading fill out the rest of my hobbies.

i guess i would get started on catching up on photo books. did one yearly as christmas gifts for grandmas and grandpa each year (with an extra copy for me) for 8-9 years. kids love them and still look at them. got out of it when marriage fell apart but would probably start with last year and work my way back for last 3 years i haven't done them.
if i was quarantined long enough, i could do one for trip to paris last may with DD and trip to cuba with kids last week...
first though, i would probably order prints online of family photos and get some pics on the walls of my rental house. i have been hoarding frames for last several years but not a single photo has been printed, framed and made it on the walls yet. hey, i only moved in this past august! lol!

Well my favorite hobby would not help me if I was quarantined as it’s dog sports So dryland/urban mushing and rally obedience. My indoor hobbies are card making, scrapbooking, reading and watching movies/TV and Youtube. We also enjoy camping/RVing and I love going to concerts. More not at home things

In November I bought a paint by number kit and am just about ready to dive in. I needed just the right table for this project ( in my living room ) and it’s finally done. I also plan to do scrapbooking on this table. There is also a big stack of books waiting to be read.

I knit a lot, particularly in meetings, which I am in *constantly.* I got into cross stitch a few years ago, and also do some other embroidery. I sew and quilt, although those hobbies are less portable. I do scrapbook still, although I have been slack about it the past few years and have just been getting back into it in the new year.
I could live off of my stash for all of those hobbies for years.
I read a ton as a hobby and have a ballet subscription. Does barre class count as a hobby? Because I do that most days.

I pretty much only scrapbook right now, which I do often. However I also enjoy sewing historic garb, spinning fibers, and making ornaments, with the spun fibers as hair, and I dress them with antique and vintage laces, fabrics and trims. I also enjoy folk art painting on wood objects; chests, spools, etc.
As a hobby I volunteer at a local 18th c. museum as an interpreter.
My new hobby is to learn how to use my new Corel photo program and get into digital editing.

I do all kinds of things. I plan to return to scrapbooking when I get moved within the next few months. I do needle felting. I work in wood. I work with soft metals. I stamp and have more materials than any one person should. I will be making tons of cards for donation to multiple organizations that I have bookmarked. I do a little painting and Copic color drawing. But it is going to take me months to get set up again in my new house before I can start playing with all these things first. I could probably wait out a quarantine by unpacking alone. I would just have to have meals and groceries delivered and I’d be set.

Between quilting and painting, I could be quarantined well into retirement. I'm thinking quarantine sounds pretty good right now.

I like scrapbooking.. I sew some, occasionally do a cross stitch, always reading .. I could keep my self busy just organizing the basement for a month.. I spent 9 weeks in a fire look out in my 20's.. and was never bored. I got to come back down the hill once a week for 24 hours.

Lately I've been doing more sewing and knitting than papercrafts though I enjoy all and have supplies for all. I've been learning and practicing free motion quilting for the last couple of years. I have three quilt projects in various stages of completion currently.
I have plenty of scrapbook supplies and some photos printed. To use supplies and bring a little joy back to my papercrafting, I started making cards for our local nursing home residents a few months ago. It's a bit like the charity "Operation Write Home" was. In this case the activities director keeps a supply of cards. Residents can choose cards to send to family and friends or to give to other residents since they don't have easy access or the money to go buy a card at a store.
I also enjoy cooking and some baking. There is always at least one knitting project going and I have yarn in my stash for the next one. I won't get too bored if stay here, plus we have several acres and with spring right around the corner I could always do yard work even though I can think of about 20 things I'd rather do.

It feels great to go through everything you have every now and then. Anyway, I: Crochet Cross stitch Make cards Do mixed media work Sew/quilt Paint fabric Scrapbook/PL And I'm sure I am forgetting something in there.

I am a hobbyiest photographer so I guess if I'm quarantined I would pull out my camera. I have hundreds of old photos I can also go back and edit.
If I'm quarantined during baseball season I would be perfectly content watching MLB tv all day long.
If I get bored I have my peloton bike and tons of books on kindle I have never read. I think I could stay busy for the 14 days or so.
