I think the longest I have gone without leaving my house was 3 days when I had the flu. What about you? I don't think I could stay inside my house for more than a day or two - but leaving the farm is another story. It is super easy for me to go one to two weeks without leaving the farm. That is normal. But by farm, I am referring to a fairly large area, not just a house or yard area. It encompasses many miles. During calving season it is easy for me to go a couple weeks without going into a store. I am out and about, but I don't see any other human besides my husband. Animals, yes. Humans, no. LOL I see my cows and calves, all the birdies I look out for in the spring, like bluebirds, orioles, cardinals, etc. I am happy when my Blue Heron comes back to scold me for getting into his/her territory. I enjoy all the different hawk species and so many eagles now. I see beaver (destructive, but interesting), mink, coons, possums, deer, coyotes, bobcats (rare!), fox, mountain lion tracks - but i've never seen the actual animal. It is so easy for me to forgo the human population though! LOL This sounds very peaceful.

I've never kept track. I rarely go anywhere, don't care about interacting with people, and I'm easily entertained. I could stay home a long time without getting bored. It is definitely harder in the winter months. Me too. Probably 2 weeks because that's how often I have massages. Otherwise, I know I've stayed at home for at least 3 weeks for no reason during summer vacation. Wait, that's not true. I would still go to the beach. But I have gone that long without speaking face to face with another person.

I was flat on my back for one month a few years ago. It was hell. I went to some really dark places. But I live out in the country and can go without seeing real people for a week or more. We live on 10 acres and I can get out if the weather is nice (which it is not right now). My husband works away during the week and comes home on the weekends. I'm ok being alone.

About a week and half, when I was sick with bronchitis.
I had surgery about two and a half years ago and was home healing for two weeks, with the exception of the day after checkup and the one week checkup. The first five days at my Mothers, then the rest of the time at home.
Edited to add, when 9-11 happened I didn't work for ten days(including the usual days off), but I probably made a couple trips to the grocery store or a drive thru.

8 weeks after major surgery; I had a temporary ileostomy with a tendency to leak so I never left home. Then I went back to work for six weeks and was out again for ten. Again couldn’t go out because I was relearning how to use the bathroom. I needed to be near a restroom at all times.

I couldn’t drive for several weeks after I had my DD, so once I was done with the initial doctor appointments for me and DD I was at home for a long time. It was brutal.
Even now in the winter I can hole up in my house for quite a few days running. I hate driving in the snow or ice or bad weather, and I hate driving in the dark which is most of the time from November through about the end of February. I’ll think of something I really want or need to go or do, but then I think about how much it sucks to sit in my cold car sliding around on the roads and I’m like, NOPE, not doing it. So then I think I’ll go the next day and the next day it’s the same thing so once again I’ll pass. That can go on for a week or more, easily.

When I had my back surgery almost 2 years ago. Home/inside for two weeks except for one visit to the 24hr emergency vet at 10pm at night with a sick cat (someone drove me) Then had my follow up doctors appointment, went to that and then straight home/inside for another week, then gradually once or twice a week started doing short trips. I'd say I spent the better part of 2 months at home 90% of the time.
Although I wanted to be back to normal - I didn't really have any problems dealing with it.

I was on hospital bedrest for four weeks for my first Pg
I was on home bedrest for my twins for about four months. I went to a dr appointment (across the road from where I live) about once a week. Other than that, I went out for something else maybe six or seven times. All but two of those were in my last ten or so days of my pg. I’d say that was pretty much like this, but worse since I couldn’t be up for more than 15 minutes a Day.
Also, I hurt my back about three or four years ago and spent most of two weeks of my summer in pain and rarely moving. Early on I tried taking my kids to swim practice, but decided I was in so much pain, I shouldn’t drive.
Other than that, I think I’ve stayed in my house for about three days in winter weather...maybe three or so times.

Probably close to a couple of months other than doctor appointments when my son had open heart surgery as an infant. It was in the winter and we just stayed home during those days before and after his surgery.

About an hour and a half. I'm the most extroverted extrovert you've ever seen, I am only home to sleep, it seems. This is killing me. KILLING ME. I have friends calling and texting asking how I'm doing.

Last summer after gallbladder/hernia surgery I don’t think I left the house for almost three weeks. I went in the backyard after two but just wasn’t feeling great and didn’t have to do I didn’t leave.

Probably a little over a month, when my kids were born. Neither of them wanted to think about a bottle or binky, and it took me some time to get my nerve up to nurse in public, especially with DS, being a first time mom. I was totally comfortable with nursing in public, but was not prepared for just how HUGE my boobs would get, and how to manage them in public, when neither of my kids would tolerate being covered when they nursed. Good times.

I think about 2 weeks after having a baby via c-section. I'm not good at staying at home for extended periods of time. I need external stimulation.

I am an extroverted SAHM. I am always out and about. The thought of being cooped up in my house for weeks terrifies me. I think the longest I have gone without leaving my house was 3 days when I had the flu. What about you? I am too! I love getting out (except the grocery store, I don't enjoy that). Target, Costco, lunch with friends, I love it! I also love being home when I have the house to myself and can get stuff done. When my husband used to travel for work, I would try to leave the house as little as possible and do some major cleaning! But when we are stuck in the house with everyone home, nothing gets done. We are sad, scared and not motivated. If it does get clean, it gets messy fast with 4 adults and one teen. But everyone is in the same predicament, so I'm not alone.
At least for us it's almost spring, it's light out later into the evening, and warmer. This would have been even harder on my family if this was in the fall and we had so much darkness. I am happy that we can go outside and go for walks. I even plan to go for a drive tomorrow, I need to get out (but in a safe way).

Did you see the picture of the guy visiting his dad at an old folks facility? He was sitting outside his dad's window in a chair and talking on the phone to him. It looked really sweet. Maybe you can find someone to sit outside your glass doors!

My neighbor/one of my best friends brought her dog over today to see my dog, and we stood several feet away and talked outside for a bit! I miss our Chick Fil-A lunch dates! We joked that we would go to their drive through, then park and leave an open space between us, and talk while we ate in our cars with the windows open!

3 weeks during th DC area sniper. We would stay home all the time and then if someone got shot in Maryland we would run out to get gas and groceries because we had 2-3 hours of relative safety befure they could get back to VA. I will never forget his good it felt to take the kids to the park the first time, they were 3,3,and 1 at the time.
4 months when I was pregnant. I was allowed to go to dr visits only and the rest of the time I was on my side and allowed to sit at the table for one meal a day.

Weeks. After transplant I didn't get out for quite a long time. Can't actually remember exactly how long. In home nurses came here to check on me and take labs for quite a while. I was cool with staying in then because I wanted to do nothing. or less. Because both my kidneys were removed it was a more difficult than most with much longer incision and heal time. But it was all a blur/wanted to sleep so getting out was the last thing on my mind. ETA Come to think of it, I was on bed rest for quite a while with one of my pregnancies, too.
