I am an extroverted SAHM. I am always out and about. The thought of being cooped up in my house for weeks terrifies me. I think the longest I have gone without leaving my house was 3 days when I had the flu. What about you?

Without leaving the house? Maybe 2 weeks, after having DS. Even then I don't think it was that long.
I am dreading being stuck in the house. SO much. Even as an introvert I enjoy at least getting out to work.
Starting tomorrow I will be home with DS since his daycare closed. When I found that out it seemed like sh!t got even more real. At least going to/from work we had some version of normalcy, even if we weren't going anywhere other than work.

Probably not more than 3 days. I am an introvert, but I still like to be out and about.

I've never kept track. I rarely go anywhere, don't care about interacting with people, and I'm easily entertained. I could stay home a long time without getting bored. It is definitely harder in the winter months.

You don't have to stay inside your house! Go for a walk. Go for a jog. Ride your bike. Drive to somewhere where you can walk in the trees/near water/in nature. Do yard work. Drag a chair outside and read out there if it's warm enough. Sunshine is a good thing.
I've never stayed in my house for any length of time unless I've been sick, which is rare. I'm a total introvert but I always go for walks, or sit on the deck.

A week probably due to snow Yeah that, last year. I worked seven days on/seven off at that time and that was my off-week, except I think I only spent five consecutive days home.

I go 4-5 days all the time. For no reason other than I'm a homebody and I have groceries so why go out?

When DS was a baby, he had surgery and then we had a bunch of snow days. I think I was at home for 8 days or something. And yes I went stir-crazy and painted my garage door (the inside one that leads out to the garage) turquoise...

I was on bedrest the majority of the time I was pregnant. There was easily a month then when I went from the bed to the toilet to the bed occasionally stopping for bottled water or a snack in the fridge DH put in the bedroom for me. Only left the house for ob/gyn appointments. Probably the same amount of time when I slipped on the stairs and landed solidly on my back. And Finally a silver lining to my major depressive episodes, there have been many long stretches I barely left the bed much less the house and I became a bit of an introvert. Now I have no issues being ‘stuck’ at home.

I don’t think more than a couple days. Maybe 3 days after my c section but I was up and about pretty quickly.

In the winter, I can go weeks without leaving the house. I work from home and I hate going out when its cold and icy. I guess I’ve been practising for this situation for years.

Probably week or less. I still have to report to work, so this doesn't affect me yet too much. Although it is weird to think, that sometimes I do my errands after work and stop here and there. I will be limiting those stops. The only must have is tonight and I hope they are open is the UPS store.. I have an Amazon return that I have to get back to them within 7 days. Otherwise.. home and work.

I think the longest I have gone without leaving my house was 3 days when I had the flu. What about you? I don't think I could stay inside my house for more than a day or two - but leaving the farm is another story. It is super easy for me to go one to two weeks without leaving the farm. That is normal. But by farm, I am referring to a fairly large area, not just a house or yard area. It encompasses many miles. During calving season it is easy for me to go a couple weeks without going into a store. I am out and about, but I don't see any other human besides my husband. Animals, yes. Humans, no. LOL I see my cows and calves, all the birdies I look out for in the spring, like bluebirds, orioles, cardinals, etc. I am happy when my Blue Heron comes back to scold me for getting into his/her territory. I enjoy all the different hawk species and so many eagles now. I see beaver (destructive, but interesting), mink, coons, possums, deer, coyotes, bobcats (rare!), fox, mountain lion tracks - but i've never seen the actual animal. It is so easy for me to forgo the human population though! LOL

DS and I were talking about this last night - we were home together for months when he had his head injury. We did a lot of walks around the neighborhood. It's not exactly the same because I could leave at night when my husband got home but for the most part, I was homebound. My husband pointed out that this is actually better because now we can watch tv, read, play video games and listen to music all of which were things we could not do during that time.

I was in bed rest with a kidney infection a few years ago. Two weeks. First week was fine because I slept most of the time. Week 2 I started really hating it.

I am a quadriplegic and leaving my home is a near impossibility. I receive palliative care, so my doctor treats me at home or via tele-appts. The last time I was out was 11/21/18 when we moved into our new home.
My DH is my caregiver & he is exercising extreme caution (not leaving our home, hand washing, etc.) We're over 60 and if one or both contract covid, I'm sunk. We sure miss visits from our family & friends!
Thank goodness for this board & you lovely, funny and entertaining peas.

Back when I was pregnant, I was confined to bed for 30+ days. This was in the dark ages--no recording for TV, no videos to rent, nada....just whatever was being broadcast. It was also when making a long distance call was a big deal. We had moved cross country and I had 2 new friends at the time and that was it in our new home. I wasn't able to just call someone and talk.
It was a l-o-n-g 35 days.

DH's oncologist implemented calls instead of office visits this week. It really went well today. It helps that they have a long term relationship. I probably stayed home a week after his first surgery. We went for a drive along the Mississippi river this afternoon. We did not get out of the car. We are taking extreme precautions.

8 months. That was how long I was on bed rest, confined to our 2nd floor bedroom with a DVT. I got to go every 2 weeks to the hospital in a wheelchair for ultrasounds.

I've gone 4-5 days without talking to anyone...but I haven't gone more than 3-4 days without leaving the house. Neither of them are difficult options for me. I've become increasingly more and more of a homebody.
The reason I leave is due to obligations like work or errands, not desire to get out.
