Dh is an essential worker, he’s a correction officer at the jail in a major city. An employee has tested positive so they are taking everyones temperature as they enter the building. My dh is a DOC worker too. They had 40 people on day shift out yesterday either to "feeling sick" and staying home or saying yes to one of the questions on the list they have and being sent home when they take their temps. That's 40 people that graveyard or afternoon shift are having to cover. I don't know how long these poor people can work doubles. DH is in the maintenance dept now, he runs inmate crews, but because he used to be a corrections officer (10 years ago) they may have him suit up and take a shift in one of the units. There are only a few maintenance guys that have been CO's so it's only going to help a little. I worry about everyone there (Inmates included).

Saturday we went to DH office in Seattle to pick up his monitors so he could use them at home. Nobody was around in the part of town he works in. Since then, I have been home other than a trip to Costco yesterday which was very quick, in and out.

Wedding dress shopping for my daughter. It was nice to have a few hours break and since these are appointment only places, they aren't crowded with people. She did find her dress so that was a happy moment. Since then, yeah, I'm pretty much a human worry doll.

Oh man The mandatory OT/double shifts are brutal Dh’s jail has been so understaffed that he is routinely doing two or three doubles a week Mine works the graveyard so he is that one that has been up all night, then working another shift. I hope your dh isn’t pulled in and stays safe.

I have to go to Kaiser pharmacy every month to pick up my medications that cannot be mailed. I went last week and will have to go again in 3-week’s time.

I ran in the post office yesterday to drop a package into the big slot - the drive-up mailboxes are only for letters! I didn't touch anything directly with my hands, I used my sleeve.
And I still have to go to the cancer center every day for my radiation treatments, but Friday will be my last one!

I did get my hair cut on Monday, but my stylist works in a private space in a building shared with a small number of stylists. I figure that's probably the last professional haircut I'm getting for the foreseeable future. I was optimistic and made an appointment for 7 weeks from now, but I doubt I'll be keeping it.
And yeah, we're still all at work, unfortunately.

The hospital. Just spent a week there and got home last Friday. I was supposed to go back yesterday and again Friday for some followup tests. Both doctors offices called and said I was to stay at home and not come in for the appointments. My DH and I are on lock down. We are not to leave the house and no one is to come in. Not even our daughter who lives just around the corner. Yesterday she brought us something she had picked up for us and had to leave it on the front porch. At our age we understand why it has to be this way and will be fine waiting it it out. Plenty of food and we can go out on our patio for fresh air when ever we want to. Live on a acre so no close neighbors. Today we and the cats are putting together a puzzle. Something we haven't taken tine to do in a long time.

I’m a pediatrician, so still going to work, but haven’t been anywhere other than the grocery store in weeks in preparation for this ( and started doing online ordering with pick-up early last week. The other pediatrician and I also decided that from now on, only one of us will be in the office at a time and the other will do telehealth visits from home.

Work. Apparently accountants are essential.
Physical therapy. Only 2 people there and pretty much maintained distances.
Oh and the liquor store. #priorities

Had to go to the bank today. Staggered it away from peak hours and sanitized when I was done. Before that, work on Monday. Otherwise I've been home working, etc. (Thank God!!)

Had to go to Lowes yesterday to pickup something. Lots of people apparently using their break to do some home project.

Today. Women's breast health care facility.Mammogram. I do get out every day and walk the dogs. Sometimes twice. It has been nice and to not have snow is just too perfect. Our city has put a ban on any non-emergency tests, procedures and screenings. My city is dead-last to do anything for this crisis, so I am surprised that they preemptively canceled all for the foreseeable future. My son had a surgery scheduled for Friday. It got cancelled this morning. I am glad my appointment was cancelled. I am pretty good about taking care of the girls and waiting 2.5 months was a little long and I scheduled in early January.

Work yesterday. Working from home as of today.
Before that, and not including the store... I can't remember! We've pretty much been shut down for about 2 weeks while watching all of this unfold. Besides, hard to go anywhere for enjoyment with a 2yr old lol
Oh! Went to an indoor playland about 2 weeks ago.

I gave blood this morning at a Big Red bus. I was the first one there, but I was honestly disappointed in how they are handling this. There were 8 people working in that small space and when someone came in after me they sat her right across from me. I actually called my husband and told him not to go when I left.

I was on a cruise ship last week when all this seemed to have exploded overnight. Disembarked Saturday, flew home Saturday. Been to the grocery store. Stopped by my (empty) office Sunday to grab files in order to work from home. Been home ever since.

LOL damned new phone, autocorrect hasn't "learned" me yet. Fortunately I bought a GIANT pack of toilet paper from Costco before all this happened. We are good for 6 months or so 😂

I just got back from airport though I didn’t go in. Before that was the Korean place we ate at last week. I have also been on public trails outside over the last few days but I assume you mean public indoors slots? Yes. I've also been walking more. It's been interesting to notice that more people I pass as I'm walking are greeting me. Before "social distancing" most of the time people I'd pass would either have ear buds in or simply be in their own little world.

Mine was a massage (therapy for being rear ended) last Friday... I'm sorry you got rear ended. I hope you continue to heal. I have an appointment for a massage next week. I'm really thinking that I need to cancel it. I hate to do so, as I'm sure that she can use the business, but I'm just not sure that it's a safe thing to do at this point.
