you went? I'm just curious. I had to stop and think. The last public place I went was church, on 3-8. I'm not good at this. I like to go out and do things. I love concerts, movie theaters, and going to church. (Not in that order. )

Brunch on Sunday.
This is super hard for me. I don’t work, so church, the gym, shopping, meeting to eat with friends, going out with DH...I live for this stuff. I’ve been on the verge of tears for two days now. We were supposed to arrive in Vegas today to visit with my family, and I’m having a really hard time being stuck in the house. Cuddling my puppies and scrapping is what got me through today. Still super bummed.

Oral surgeon for a check today snd then to target. Yesterday I went to get my hair colored - no other customers just me snd the colorist. I figure it was about as safe as anyplace else since she was wiping everything down and has been really careful. If it was a normal salon I would have passed. I cancelled my dental cleaning at the end of the month I think it’s the third time I’ve cancelled now .

In addition to Mary Kay, I also work part time as a nanny. The children are a set of 19 month old boy/girl twins. Their mom is 9 months pregnant and has been approved to work remotely. I love working with children, but I need it to be balanced by adult contact.
I feel an obligation to be diligent about social distancing to help protect both myself and the family I nanny for, but I've got to tell you, this is hard. And I know it's going to get even harder.

I just got back from airport though I didn’t go in. Before that was the Korean place we ate at last week.
I have also been on public trails outside over the last few days but I assume you mean public indoors slots?

And the only store I've been in was Walgreens because I had to pick up a prescription. No drive up? That's what I do. Out? Last Friday, the lab for blood work, one room, one tech!! Trying to figure out how to get out of going to routine DR appointment Thursday. Unfortunately I haven't been in 7 months and he may make me go in and I must have my meds!!

Infusion center at UW Madison Hospital for my monthly infusion last week.
I wonder what it will be like next month. Will it be easy to get in, will I need a special (digital?) pass to prove I need to go in?
God forbid, will I not be able to get in and get it?
Weird to even wonder that.

It has been about 10 days since the daylight saving time change. We went to an ECHL hockey game on March 7th and I don't remember going anywhere since then except the grocery stores. Our bar tab has gone down to zero. We have become homebodies other than work and it is really hard for us. DH and I are both extroverts and we need to be around people. While we are thoroughly enjoying this incubator time together, I know that we will need to socialize at some point very soon. We will not, of course, as we will wait until it is safe to hang out in public near other people. In the mean time, we are focusing on this time with each other and having AMAZING sex! A healthy sex life is good for your immune system! #orgasmsmakeyouhealthier

I made an early morning run to the grocery store today and then had to do an emergency run to the vet this afternoon with one of the dogs. My poor little girl has to go back in the morning for a surgical procedure and hopefully will be home and resting by late afternoon.

The Drs office and local hospital on Monday. I’m on a new medication and needed a dose change. I’ve had a cold over the weekend and was coughing. Out of an abundance of caution they sent me for a chest X-ray. All is clear, but it was a bit freaky. They were establishing a drive they test center in the parking garage, it looked like a scene from a movie. Everyone had to be screened to enter the hospital and then wear a sticker to document it. I had on a mask that the Drs office gave me. I felt a bit like it was an overreaction to get an X-ray, I didn’t have any other symptoms.
Both were pretty empty. Took about 15 minutes to get my X-ray.

City Hall to take DD to get a food handlers card, 3 weeks ago. She's now laid off for 30 days, for the best.

Lunch with DD last Saturday. I also had bookings for dinner on three separate occasions over the next two weeks, but we've cancelled those plans. No more eating out for us for the foreseeable future. Which is a shame because the supermarkets are empty of meat, veggies, bread and eggs at the moment.

My crazy doctor last Thursday. So glad I did, I have anxiety so we discussed a plan in case I needed a medication change before I see him again. Now I have a new rescue-type one on hand if needed to take in addition to my daily meds, and don’t have to go in. It actually helps knowing I have a plan and so far I haven’t had to use it.

Oops, I "lied" .
DS and I went together today to vote early. I live rural and our clerk office is tiny. Like open the door, take one step and you're at the counter tiny. Weird/eerie seeing, paper towels, Clorox wipes and bleach spray all sitting on tiny office counter all ready to use.
Years ago they put a glass partition in. Coming in handy now. She had to check our drivers license even though we know her by name. We held it up to the glass. She stepped away, got our ballets and handed them to us through the slot, along with pens. Very somber.
We filled them out, handed them back along with the pens. She sealed them with the water dauber thing and wiped the pens down with Clorox wipes. We were in and out in under 5 minutes and the only two there.
5 minute drive, <5 minutes inside, 5 minute drive home.
My kids have me on a short leash. It must be love.
