Two weeks ago I ordered a Crafter's Companion (large) guillotine paper cutter. I have a few paper cutters, but I was looking for a smaller one that doesn't use blades. I go through blades pretty quickly. I ordered the CC one on a whim and watched few YouTube videos on it while I waited. It will cut 13 x 13 but has the swing out (type) arm blade so the cutter is actually much smaller. So far I am loving it. It is accurate (really accurate) and has a built in score board on it. So far I am loving it. The slide out arm is different and takes a little getting used to, but I have used it on a dozen layouts and will adjust. I still have my Fiskars paper cutter at the ready because I tend to cut out the middle of paper if I am using an entire sheet for a background.

I will keep this in mind if I am in the market for one. I like that it kind of looks like it has more platform space then the TH one. I will have to check out the videos.

Stampin' Up has a new one I ordered. Hope I like it.

Ooooh, I'm intrigued. I've been looking for a replacement for my Stampin' Up trimmer (I don't like certain things about the newest one, especially the lack of the underside storage for blades). I recently got the Creative Memories personal trimmer and like it for the most part--takes a little getting used to with the guillotine arm, not a sliding blade.

It is a tight fit between the blade and the base. You can tell they put more time into creating this than many manufacturers put into theirs. The extended "arm" is a pop out one and that is a little odd for me.
