Layle has shared part 1 of a free TN class for all of us isolating. Part 2 next weekend. I haven’t watched yet but I’m looking forward to spending some time tomorrow

Oh how lovely! I have some blank notebooks, but I’ve yet to attempt to use any of them. I’m not sure why I’m so hesitant, but class will be fun and a good way to pass some time.
Thanks!

Maybe this will help me actually use a TN to document SOMETHING. I just struggle with what to put in there. I’ve seen tons of lists and suggestions, but nothing resonates with me.

I had never thought of making a list of the lists I want to make. Sounds funny but I really liked that. So here is my list of lists.

Nice channel, I had to subscribe. Now I want to make the file folder mini album (that I will never use for anything)!

I really enjoyed that video. So many ideas!
Did anyone happen to catch what size the majority of her TNs are she is using? They seem like they would be just the right size for projects I am working on at work.

Off to look for that size of TN's. Her style and ideas of making lists is just what I'm looking for - useful and a little creative. I'm guessing I'm going to down a "rabbit hole" in search of a TN that's perfect for me. And I'm looking forward to it.

I did some shopping! I was hoping to start this week, but now I am not sure. We just got word today that our district is closed until next school year. I am sad. I miss my kiddos.

Layle has been adding more videos but they're a bit long for me and I haven't had the energy to watch them yet. I think she's been doing them live too, which just adds a bit more chaos. Maybe I'll put them on in the background sometime. But her CoronaVirus journal TN flip through was interesting, for anyone planning one of those.

MDscrapaholic that looks great. Thanks for sharing what you've made. I'm really trying to get started... I have the notes but I haven't gotten the notebook I wanted yet (it's in the mail!) and each day that passes makes it feel like it will be an overwhelming task. I think it's smart that you're doing a little each day. And it looks good - like you have a balance of pretty, real, everyday life and covid-craziness in there.

Thank you joblackford . I can't make myself cut up full sheets of scrapbook paper for this so I'm using my scraps. It's not as cohesive as I'd like, but I did make the pages with the dates all the same. Can't wait to see yours!

I am late to the game here. But I want to say how wonderful it is the she is sharing something for free. I have bought kits from her in the past and really enjoyed putting them together. Has anyone else offered up some free classes or ideas? With all the money we have spent over the years with different individuals, it is nice to see someone giving back in return during these times we when are stuck at home.

With all the money we have spent over the years with different individuals, it is nice to see someone giving back in return during these times we when are stuck at home. It's very generous of her! I know that scrapbook.com just released a bunch of free classes online. It's not something special though, not specifically because of this situation. They're always free, despite the crossed out price in the listings, and they release them periodically, I think right after the trade shows. www.scrapbook.com/classes/I appreciate those who have shared freebies of all kinds (there are tons of coronavirus printables listed in another thread) but also know that it's a rough time to be a small business person (or anyone, let's be real) so not everyone is going to be able to be that generous.
