What a cool idea - put teddys in the window to give a little cheer to kids while out for a walk. A nice way to put a smile on their face while still keeping everyone apart.
It's like an easy version of geocaching.

A friend of mine that lives in Spain shared that they are encouraged to draw pictures of rainbows and put them in the window. I thought that was a comforting thought as well.

My DD is an elementary teacher. Her school is doing a parade. The teachers are going to caravan around the town at a designated time to wave at the students watching out their windows.
It made me cry when she told me. She’s really struggling with not getting to tell her kids goodbye. ❤️

I've got 2 cats in the window - will that do? It can be a scavenger hunt - find the bears, find the cats, find the person not in jammies...

It's all just so crazy.

I saw a post of a city where they were doing hearts in the windows.

In my neighborhood, the kids are writing positive messages and drawing pictures all along the sidewalks with sidewalk chalk. So you get a little boost when you go for a walk.

It's being done in my neighborhood and I put some bears in our window. Someone made up a list of several things over the next few weeks, but I'm not sure if I'll do those.

I've got 2 cats in the window - will that do? Me too, but I think the teddy bear idea is very clever. Still, my 2 kitties won't like the new guy and will vote him off the window sill.

We're doing this in our neighborhood. I put large one in an upstairs window.

Some of the moms in our neighborhood posted last night asking people to put a teddy or other stuffed animal in the window. Stitch has been hanging out in our window all day.

Our community education fb page posted something to color and put in your window for those families out by car or walking on a scavenger hunt. Each week it is something different. Sports, flowers, characters, and Easter were the themes.

I have a small stuffed bear in my window now, but I’m hoping to make a larger paper Winnie the Pooh tomorrow.

In my neighborhood, the kids are writing positive messages and drawing pictures all along the sidewalks with sidewalk chalk. So you get a little boost when you go for a walk. When I went to pick up my Mom the other day for a doctor appt there was a chalk heart drawn on her driveway and a RVME Strong saying at the entrance in chalk. She lives in a senior mobile home community!

I did this last week with two teddy bears, even put them six feet apart. This morning someone posted a message on Nextdoor asking neighbors to participate in a bear hunt. I found some bigger teddy bears and now I wish I had more windows.

I'm kind of jealous of all the city people who are doing his! We're pretty rural - I think we get about 8 kids for Halloween so there won't be many kids looking for a bear but I think I'm going to put one out anyway.
