looking forward to doing the most?
I'm not too isolated since I still work at a hospital. I am looking forward to walking with a girlfriend, now that weather is warming up someday.
I miss visiting my 94 year old grandmother in the nursing home. Staff call my mother with reports and we hope she doesn't end up dying alone. That saddens me. She is in ok health but you never know.
Social media is a great tool for us now.

i also look forward to dining out. Long lunches with my friends. Dinner out with DH. This daily home cooking is just not me.

Going to the gym and going to our favorite restaurants - I miss all the people (who are like family now) at our regular breakfast place.

We had just started planning our summer weekends, Jeeping, hiking, canoeing trips. All is on hold right now. I look forward to being able to plan these events. Also getting together with my best friends.
It really is the simple things I miss the most right now.

Dining out and traveling again is probably the two things I am most looking forward to.

My dd's European trip for MN ambassadors band was canceled in July. I was so excited for her.

Actually I am okay right now. I do work so I am not home every single day and just started a modified schedule which if I am honest I LOVE it.. I work 3 - 10 hour days and off four days. So I work Mon, Tues and Wed and then off the rest of the week.
I know I will start missing eating out cause I hate to cook, but even that hasn't hit me too hard. I haven't even really gone through the drive thru. But I know it will hit soon.

We have all been looking forward to baseball season. I am really hoping that the kids can still play this summer, but it seems unlikely. That makes me sad.

Having all my family for dinner (preferably one that I don’t cook and clean up after). Also hope some of the MLS season can be salvaged. And I would love to travel somewhere. Anywhere sounds good right now.

Mostly, just not living in fear as we are now.
Also, McDonald's diet cokes, Sheetz iced tea (I just can't make it as well myself) and Chick Fil-A!

My parents just got home from the Winter down South. I live a few hours away from them, but not being able to see them right away makes me sad.
So, visiting with my family.
My best girl friends and I get together monthly for Stitch and Bitch sessions - those will be missed.
Work! I do OK work from home, but the face to face is so much better!

Getting back to our regularly scheduled chaotic schedule...and dropping my boys off at school!
I will admit it's nice to not be in the middle of the chaotic schedule, but that also means that our oldest isn't preparing for his baseball season. Depending on how the school year finishes out (we're only cancelled through 4/13, but I doubt we go back then) there's still a chance they can play some baseball because it's a summer sport for high schools in Iowa. This might be the only time I'm happy about that!
He should also be continuing to work out for football season, but can only do so much from home (and he really hasn't been good about it). He is so used to be physical and active that it's weird/hard for him to have nothing to do.

Seeing my immediate family and especially getting a big hug from my little Grandson He's only 3 and doesn't understand why he's not seeing us all of sudden when we usually see him several times a week And going to our local pub on a Friday evening for a glass of vino and a chat and a laugh with the locals

The very first thing I will do is go to my adult sons and wrap my arms around them. I am struggling not having them at home. I'm really, really excited to go back to work too. I like working from home but there is nothing like socializing in public. My job is going to be FUN when this is all over.

Flying to NY for my annual visit with my family. I usually go in June after school ends. I will be thankful to see them at all this year. 😢 Getting together and jamming with my music friends. I worry about many of them who are well into their late 70’s and 80’s.

So much, from little things to major. Planning travel, from weekend trips for DH and I, to going back to Australia for a longer visit, and being able to catch up with everyone I didn’t end up having time for this trip. Visiting our favourite restaurants, especially the Mexican we used to like, which has been closed for renovations and was just ready to reopen when this mess hit. Meeting up with friends for coffee, and with my knitting group on Sunday evenings. Football (soccer) being back - it has only been 3 weeks since the German league called off all games, and it is worse than the summer break

I am dying to see my family. I'm sure it's extra hard since your father passed away. I'm sure their support in person would mean a lot! ETA: I think I'm thinking of christine58. Sorry about that.

Hugging my parents. My dad had a mild stroke while I was out of town for my last work trip. I have been avoiding them b/c of their risk and my travel, etc. I finally saw them for a brief few minutes last weekend when I dropped off some supplies they needed, but didn't touch them or get close to them.
I'm also looking forward to getting back to real work and traveling and event life.
And hopefully getting my full salary back before the end of the year. ha (my company is trying to avoid lay offs, so everyone took a 10% salary cut last week).
