I LOVE musical theater and have seen so many shows! On my bucket list are Dear Evan Hansen and Hadestown. I live overseas so I try to get in as much as possible when I come to the USA and have gone to London a few times for theater trips. I'd always see Hamilton again though (saw it in NYC with the original cast and in Chicago) and I will ALWAYS see Les Mis when I get the chance (I've seen it 12 times since high school!)

I would love to see Waitress, Bring It On, HP and the Cursed Child and Hamilton. We have tickets to Hamilton in the fall; and was planning a trip to London in January to see Bring It On and the HP play.
I would also like to see Merrily We Roll Along.

All the things. That about sums it up. We love theater, especially musical theater. We wanted to see Hamilton again when it travels to Houston in June (July?) but I’m not sure that’s going to happen. We’ve only seen Wicked once and that’s a crime, so we were super excited to see it will also be going to Houston next season. Love making a weekend trip out of it. For shows I haven’t seen, off the top of my head:
The Lion King
The King & I
Les Mis
Newsies
Fiddler on the Roof w/ Topol ~ We have probably seen it 5 times as it used to be DH’s favorite. We had tickets to Topol’s last tour but he had to withdraw before he got to us, Harvey Fierstein replaced him and he was great, but we were so disappointed!
Any old, classic show
And I’m not familiar enough with what is ‘currently’ playing on Broadway to have an opinion of those shows.

I and my kids have tickets to Book of Mormon in May, but that’s obviously still up in the air. Have you seen it before? My kids were familiar with the music because I listen to it, but I took my two older ones this last summer, and they really enjoyed it. I actually won the ticket lottery, too, so I was able to convince my husband to go... he’s not a fan of musicals in general, and his attitude was “Why do I need to see it? I lived it for two years!” I’m not sure he’d go so far as to say he loved it, but he definitely laughed a lot. I hope you are able to go, or that they reschedule it! My husband, who has faith and isn’t nearly as irreverent as I am, turned to me soon after it started and whispered “we’re going to hell” and proceeded to laugh his butt off the rest of the show. Now whenever we hear a doorbell or someone simply says “hello” we just look at each other and smirk. For anyone that hasn’t seen it and aren’t very familiar with the story, I’d look into it before I buy my tickets. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely amazing. But at our show there was a lady in the restroom during the intermission complaining about it, and was leaving her friends there because she was so offended she didn’t want to watch the rest of it. I’m guessing she wasn’t familiar with the creators and had never seen an episode of South Park, so I always try and warn people. And then tell them to get thee a ticket as soon as they can!

I saw the cursed child when it first came out and it is SO MUCH FUN. I highly recommend seeing it over 2 nights instead of in one day. It was actually too much theater to cram into one day for me!
