A friend is still renting movies from Redbox. They have plenty of streaming options available. Just curious. I am not.

It's not something we normally use (have in the past, just not a regular thing). But I would if there was something I wanted. Be smart about it....use a wipe to grab the dvd from the slot, wipe the whole thing off, sanitize after wards and after putting the dvd into your machine. Maybe high risk people should avoid it, but otherwise I don't see it any more dangerous than getting your mail or going to the grocery store.

I couldn’t vote because while I know what Redbox is, I’ve never used it. We were early adopters of Netflix from the early days with the DVDs and switched over to streaming once that was a thing. There has always been content we’ve been interested in watching on there so we keep using the service.

Yes, we’ve actually been using a little bit more lately. Due to Internet issues, we sometimes run into problems streaming movies. This makes a nice option that’s not reliant on Internet.

You need another option for those of us who have never used Redbox.

I haven't used Redbox in probably 8-10 years. There's no need to with all the streaming services and the ability to rent new releases through Amazon, iTunes, etc.

I can pretty much rent any movie that is not on Prime through Amazon. No need to leave my house. I did use it once before streaming was what it is now.

I plan on starting again. T-Mobile often has freebie codes and they have some great movies to stream. The only thing is that we need to hook up our Roku as it’s not on the Xfinity voice commands and it also burns through our internet allowance. Since the allowance has been lifted for now, we will probably use it again.

I've never used Redbox. I live in a rural area and never liked the idea of traveling 40 mins or so the very next day to return the movie. Just inconvenient. I've had Netflix since 2007 though they used to have a lot more movies from the big studios than they do now.

You need another option for those of us who have never used Redbox. Considering how much I paid Blockbuster in late fees over the years , we avoided Redbox and went straight to streaming or cable channels. It was less expensive for us. Same reason I buy books and don't check out from the library.

We don’t use redbox on the best of days. It’s not convenient for us.
But no freaking way would I be using it now! Waaaay too much anxiety and paranoia right now for me to go and do that. 😂
We’ve been utilizing amazon prime, Netflix, and on-demand options a lot more than usual. Also, weve been buying some dvds for things we can’t get on those 3 options th at we would also like to own (casablanca and the Maltese Falcon). It’s enough to keep the kids (and us) happy.

I did last night. Got in car, wiped the case down and sanitized my hands. Then I cleaned the disc when I got home. I will drop off tonight and clean my hands again.
I would have loved to have streamed the movie. We just didn’t see it in our options!

I'm a platelet donor, and the process (for me) takes about 2.5 hours, and the donor center has TVs and DVD players at each station. Redbox is awesome for me, I can go pick up the exact movie I want to see, go pick it up from the outdoor kiosk, watch it during my donation, and return it before I come home. I love it!
