Here is a list of all the musicals mentioned in this thread and where you can stream them. These are the ones I could find on streaming services. In my research I found Amazon has a Broadway HD channel you can subscribe to. They offer a 7 day trial, I may have to check it out even if just for a month. The movies not on the list below are available to rent online from all the usual sources. If I missed one, let me know. I used an app I have to see where the movies are streaming. I hope it's information is correct because I didn't cross check it all.
Rent: Starz Hairspray: Netflix Fiddler on the Roof: Amazon Prime I'm so sad that it's not streaming on any services. You can still rent though. The Sound of Music: Disney Plus Newsies: Disney Plus The Greatest Showman: Roku + Cinemax Little Shop of Horrors: Amazon Prime Moulin Rouge: Amazon + HBO, HBO Go, Roku + HBO Evita: Roku + Cinemax Holiday Inn: Amazon Prime Oklahoma! (1999 with Hugh Jackman): Amazon Prime + Broadway HD Phantom of the Opera: Amazon Prime + Broadway HD Xanadu: HBO Go, Hulu + HBO Cry Baby: Starz, Prime + Starz Sweeney Todd (1982): Amazon Prime + Broadway HD Sweeney Todd (2007): Netflix Mamma Mia: Starz, Hulu + Starz, Amazon + Starz Chicago: Hulu + Cinnemax, Roku + Cinnemax West Side Story: Starz, Hulu, Amazon, Roku + Starz Bye Bye Birdie: Amazon Prime + IMDB (Free), Sony Crackle (My app says free?) Annie (2014): Roku Channel Wizard of Oz: Sling, TNT Chitty Chitty Bang Bang: Amazon Prime and Netflix Bugsy Malone: Pluto (my app says free?) Purple Rain: Netflix, Roku, Prime + BET Jersey Boys: Netflix Les Miserables (1978): Amazon Prime Les Miserables: (2012): HBO Go Kiss Me Kate: Amazon Prime Hedwig and the Angry Itch: HBO, Amazon Prime + HBO, Hulu + HBO Hello Dolly!: Amazon + HBO, Amazon + HBO Shrek the Musical: Amazon Prime Burlesque: Amazon Prime Rocketman: Xfinity free stream Mary Poppins: Disney Plus Mary Poppins Returns: Netflix Funny Girl: Crackle (free app) Aladdin (live action 2019): Disney Plus
********************************************** Original OP
What is your favorite movie musical? Bonus points if it’s streaming somewhere!
Mine is currently

I also love Hairspray (Netflix) and Fiddler on the Roof (Amazon Prime).

My Fair Lady is what inspired this thread. I was looking all over to try to find it on a streaming service and it’s only out there for rent. DH is about to have his students read Pygmalion and was hoping to have some options for the kids to be able to stream My Fair Lady. We own it so we usually watch it once a year when DH does this unit.

And the show "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend". I'm so sad about the loss of Adam Schlesinger.

Wicked Mamma Mia! Lion King (I don't know if they've ever filmed the live production of this and made it available for viewing, but it is a truly spectacular Broadway show)
ETA: I think I read that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat would be available online for free all weekend, thanks to Andrew Lloyd Weber. This is another one of my favorites!

I missed the word “movie” in both the title and OP and none of the responses listed Hamilton, even farther down the list and I was so confused!
Growing up was Annie, which was such an important part of childhood that lasted well into adulthood. Now if I could only choose one to watch it would be Fiddler on the Roof, but I also love The Sound of Music. Rent is one of my favorite theatrical musicals, but I could take or leave the movie. I haven’t seen a lot of these listed, especially the older ones, will have to check some of them out!

I am not a fan of musicals (the burst into song isn’t my favorite, ha), but I don’t mind a good movie musical from time to time.
I’d put Moulin Rouge up there for me as a non-musical person.

DH is about to have his students read Pygmalion and was hoping to have some options for the kids to be able to stream My Fair Lady. We own it so we usually watch it once a year when DH does this unit. I love musicals. My Mom did local shows when I was a kid, and I sat at rehearsals and went to shows, so they are deeply ingrained in my brain chemistry! My Fair Lady happened when I was 7, so it's a special one for me. I listened to the broadway recording a lot after that. However imagining Julie Andrews in the role spoiled me for the movie, and I just can't enjoy the movie at all Also love: Singing in the Rain; South Pacific (Such great songs. They made a TV version of this years ago. Harry Connick Jr? Would love to see it again!); Hairspray; Oklahoma (if you haven't seen the BBC/ Hugh Jackman version, find it. Swoon. SWOON. Just YouTube a clip even. I ruined my daughter for the original movie). Into the Woods (love the music, love the princes, love that I can stream it) West Side Story. So many great great musicals.
