I have a half completed puzzle, I'm at a hard spot so I've lost interest. I've got a stack of coloring books I keep saying I'm gonna color. I have 2 new books to read.
I am struggling to do any of it. I just sit and zone out to the TV.
It truly stinks.... I'm ready to go back to work, even the bad days will be a blessing...
What are you doing to get motivated?

I am a voracious reader, but my concentration - while better now - has been definitely down.

I guess I just feel scattered. I start something but don’t seem to have the attention span right now to
See anything through. Today I made 2 masks but that’s all I did. I miss my old schedule.( I used to babysit my 2 year old
Grandson but now of course his mom and dad are working from home so I get to face time him but it’s just not the same.

I feel like I am just entertaining children or at the mercy of children all day, so I don't have enough concentration to even do anything. There is nothing I want to watch on TV, I can't have ten uninterrupted minutes to dare pick up a book, let alone make something or do any of my hobbies.
I feel like I do a lot of staring into nothingness in between people wanting food or needing help on schoolwork. Not that it needs reiterating, but it's been a long month.

This, pretty much word for word. I have been trying to sew a mask for 3 days now. It's almost done but the intended recipient just told me that they ended up getting one elsewhere. I am still going to finish it to see if it will fit me better than my first one, but at this point that might not happen until Monday.

Totally scattered. I’m getting my job done and I’ve been doing a lot of cleaning, but other things that are supposed to be relaxing, no. I can’t knit for long, it’s taking me forever to get through a book, and I don’t watch tv. I’m pretty much glued to the news all the time and I hate it.

I find myself being less interested in the projects I was eager to start when this began. It’s easy to say, it can wait until tomorrow. I was retirement before this, so tomorrow was always an option.
I have been rotated the different things I’m interested in. Some days I read, some days I knit, or clean out closets. Some days it is just sit and watch tv with my dog.

I have an entire room full of stuff to make cards... which I really do like to do, except for the mess I make.
So what am I doing? Looking at cross stitch patterns as if I will be able to do them all. I did actually buy one-- Baby Yoda-- which I have started and spend a little bit of time on each night, but I'm kidding myself if I think I'll be interested in doing ANOTHER cross stitch project after this.

I have a hard time starting things, but once I get going I’m okay. I don’t tend to do a whole lot of things that require a major time investment anyway even before this because if something takes too long I lose interest in it before it’s completed. I’ve been all about instant gratification for several years now. I’ve always been more or less of a procrastinator and now I’m a little worse about that. I’ve been wanting to make some muffins for about two weeks now and haven’t done it yet, but part of that is because DH keeps asking for other stuff and I’ve been making them instead.

About the first 10 days I went gung ho and got lots done. The next 10 days were the opposite. Other than work, I felt no motivation for much else. This week though, I am getting my drive back again.

I've started 4 different quilts. Plenty of stash to use up.
Motivation isn't happening and the follow-through isn't happening.
There will be a few cute "Project Smile" quilts finished, at some point in time . . . .

I have wanted to have time like this for decades. But I am wasting it. Yes, I am doing a few things, but not nearly what I could.
I have been reading on my tablet and have finished a good number of books. I got my son's room together. He moved out and left most of his stuff and now may have to move home, so I organized the entire room.
I just spend so much time on the computer and in front of the TV. Wasting time. But I do get up around 9 each day, shower, dress, etc.

I should be doing more dusting! I love to read, but I am struggling to concentrate when I sit down.
I am doing a fun coloring page from our newspaper. I've never been into that before.

I have good days and bad days. And good hours and bad hours. This morning I got so much done - I plowed through my to-do list that I've had in my phone Notes for a week. And then this afternoon, I fizzled. Played Animal Crossing. Browsed FB. Sat and stared at the wall. Thought about my puzzle in the other room. Played Animal Crossing again. Browsed FB again.
I decided awhile ago not to worry about this sort of thing. It's not like there are deadlines or schedules. Those days will be here again soon enough.

Yes, it’s ridiculous. I have tons of things to do but no energy or desire to do them. Also, trying to teach virtually is EXHAUSTING. I would much rather be at school dealing with 107 students and their shenanigans than this. By the time my school day ends, I’m wiped out and don’t want to do anything else.

Yes. But I am on Spring Break and I think I’m just finally able to feel overwhelmed. I work with students that are home schooled and I work from home so my schedule has been pretty solid. I did trim the front yard but I could have scrapped or read after that but instead I scrolled on my phone and watched Divorce and Paternity Court. Then I beat myself up because I didn’t do anything.

Definitely me! It does not help I'm having physical problems that cause pain. But really my get up and go has gotten up and left. As weird as this sounds, I start radiation for my cancer in a week or so and maybe having a daily task will help (even though I'm not keen on having to get out every day for several weeks).

The first couple of weeks of the quarantine I got a LOT done. Organizing, cleaning, exercises. Not not so much. I’m feeling so overwhelmed and with that comes being very tired.

I am chemo sick, nothing is getting done besides an occasional kitchen clean and bathroom wipe down. I don't feel like doing anything.

Yes, definitely. I started off really motivated to clean and do ALL the projects at home. Then I got word that my job might end and I got stressed. I am not as worried about that now, but still have some anxiety. I'm finding it hard to get things done, including my work or any of the extra projects that I could be doing.

Week 1 I did great! Did my Spring cleaning. Top to bottom of every room in the house. The only thing I didn’t do was the windows (outside) because the weather still sucks. I also workout everyday. Cardio in the AM and some kind of stretching or strength in the evening just to have something to do besides sit in front of the tv.
Week 2 had to go into work one day. The rest of the week I did at least one little project a day of rearranging drawers or closets or whatever. Workouts as above everyday.
Week 3 has been pretty boring. Lol I do my daily chores and workouts but there is a lot of down time. Did a couple craft projects and today it was really nice outside so I spent 2 1/2 hours fertilizing the grass before we get more rain tomorrow.
I am really trying to avoid watching the news all day, so I’ve started watching YouTube channels I never even thought about before. I’ve been watching videos of people’s living spaces in New York City. Now being that I’ve always lived in Suburban USA, I find it fascinating that people live in 300 sq feet or smaller spaces for more money a month than my mortgage. Some share bathrooms with full floors of apartments and laundry is shared by a whole building. It’s absolutely no wonder so many are sick in that city with those setups. I am so impressed with how people make their small spaces work for them. The ingenuity they have is awesome. I’m super jealous of their purchases from Ikea, as we don’t have one close to us and the shipping is ridiculous to my area so the organizational items they have at their finger tips is great. So that’s the fascinating rabbit hole I’ve been down this week.
Week 4 I have to go to work one day and I’m hoping to actually scrapbook with the stash I have.
